Athrun loves and trusts Lacus more than anybody else in the Pokémon World. To him, she's a precious sister whom he looks out for and who looks out for him. He's more grateful for her continued support than he's able to convey with words, and wants nothing but the best for her. Lacus is a huge part of the reason why Athrun is secretly hoping that Kira will show up here -- but until he does, she's a reason why he's so adamant about finding a way home.
