Also, because notes like these are sometimes traditional for memes like this — I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, what a privilege it's been to be one of your moderators all this time. Two days ago actually marked my one-year anniversary of being a head mod here, and modding in general — even with its inescapable ups and downs — has been one of my best experiences in my RP career. It makes me so happy to be able to give back to the game that was so kind and welcoming to me when I first got here (a complete Pokemon novice; I'd never even played one of the games!), and I'm honestly happiest when I get the pleasure of seeing how that effort has paid off: with people having fun, being creative, enjoying the game, and looking forward to the next adventure.

I also want to say how incredibly grateful I am for the rest of the team: working with Sunny, Dal, Lucy, and Steve has likewise been a joy and I have so much respect for every one of them and their talents and contributions to making the game a great place to have fun and spend time playing together.

It's hard to avoid sounding like a stereotypical Oscar acceptance speech with remarks like this (I'd like to thank the Academy, everyone who helped me get here, my dog, etc.), so in the interest of not putting forth thirteen variations on "I'm so happy you guys seriously I just I don't even"...

Okay this seems kind of flimsy after that beautiful speech up there, but can I just say that ever since I joined Route the first time around you have stuck out to me as one of the best writers I've seen in DW roleplay. Literally, the first time I saw Carmen post I loved her, and the rest of your characters have been super high quality. Carmen is brilliant, Kyouko is brilliant, Meridiana is brilliant (canonblind but I enjoy her threads), Schuldig is brilliant (same) -- your writing has always just struck me as being really really skillful. It can be emotional! It can be silly! But it's always super good.

It's not flimsy at all! In all honesty, I'm absolutely beside myself right now — I had no idea I had an admirer from afar and I'm really touched you took the time to let me know. It means so much to me and I just...thank you so much, wow, I'm almost glad nobody can see my face right now because it's probably as red as a tomato in the best possible way.

Oh boy, I have absolutely no idea where to even start with this. Uh, let's see...

Okay, let's start with your characters. They're incredible. Carmen's my favorite, but I'm sort of biased there, but all of them are great and the incredible amount of effort you put into playing them really shows every time you post with them. Your Kirigri is amazing, your Parker makes me want to watch Leverage, Schuldig is always great, and I honestly don't know anything about Meridiana, but I'm sure she'll be a wonderful addition to the game because you're just that great with characters. And while he's not here anymore, your Albert was incredible and his time here still makes me laugh.

On an OOC front, you're incredible. You're always approachable and always open to ridiculous shenanigans that end in some sort of hilarity. And then on the mod front, I honestly can't even begin to put into words how much I appreciate everything you do. You're an incredible mod, and I feel really lucky for being able to work with you.

Also, and I know I bring this up every now and then on these things, but I'm bringing it up again. The moon stuff during fourth wall remains one of my favorite things in this game ever. And thank you for creating the opportunity for that entire thing.

I'm incredibly touched, Steve, thank you so much for this. I knew I joined a great game when one of the head mods let me draw dumb in-joke fanart a week or so into my joining. I still have the doodle saved on my computer and it makes me laugh every time I look at it.

You're an absolute joy to thread with, and every time we're threading together I always get excited when I see a new tag from you in my inbox. All of the characters you play are interesting and engaging (and I in particular adore Schuldig, but of course I'm not biased at all) and you do really well with all of them. It weirds me out so much to play Route Schuldig sometimes after everything that DRP was because over here he's way closer to his canon personality than he was over there and I'm always a little bit like "...I hope people know that he's really not kind or a protagonist, um."

Alex I don't even know where to start! Okay, I'll start by saying I know whenever I start a thread with you, it'll never be dull. Your characters are all so diverse and interesting, and their quirks and different viewpoints lead to some really neat CR development! I absolutely love how Parker's become an honorary Dangan; she's really been an impact on a lot of their lives and I've been pleasantly surprised by how well she and Hagakure have gotten along over the last year. They're super cute, help. It's been fun to watch Kirigiri settle into the decidedly less hectic Pokeworld, and Schuldig is always a delight because sometimes you just don't know where things are going to go with him (both in Route and DRP heh). From what I've seen of Meridiana too, I'm really curious about her and can't wait to see how things turn out for her in the Pokeworld! Lastly, while I don't have CR with Carmen, I find myself constantly following her escapades.

On the OOC side, you're such an awesome and helpful mod. I love that I can come to you with plot ideas and you and the other mods can help me spice it up even more, and even make it possible to play out in the first place. I can tell you really care about the game and the playerbase and that is so great. Just chatting with you on Plurk has always been fun too! Keep being awesome, Alex!
