Winry's thoughts on this new and different Al? :3c

Al is always Al, no matter where he's from!! That's how she usually thinks about this new, different!Amestris Alphonse. He'll always be like little brother to her too, it's not like that changes even with canon confusions, and so he is very dear family member to her. She doesn't even think about the different canon stuff a lot, it's not like she forgets it but it's just easy to push aside when she gets to spend so much time with the brothers again. Al is one of her best friends, she's so happy to have him around. Not to mention she'd go insane if she was here alone with Ed... And of course, still being from canon point where Al is in the armor, it's always great to have human!Al here. That means a lot of hugs, a lot of spoiling with food and deserts and everything she can't spoil him with when he's not human. The fact that she was alone here for a long time might also have something to do with the spoiling part but ehhh, she's saved a lot of money, she can spoil her most important people! She loves him so, so much in platonic way and she'd really do anything for him.

... Then there's the department called canon confusions. She... is not very open about her complicated relationship with Envy in general, even less when Al is from the same world as Envy. Winry hasn't dared to ask much about the other Amestris anyway, it's like a really scary place, where she hasn't been ready to go. She's always, always had manga!brothers here, so it's been easy to avoid hearing what horrible things happen in that canon... but with Al here it's something that may or may not come up later. She does want to get to know him even better, and usually that includes knowing about what happens in someone's world too, so who knows, maybe taking baby steps with this one later.

But in the end, as I said in the beginning, Al will always be Al for her. No matter where he is from or how different he, or the history that made him who he's now, is, he always has a very special place in Winry's heart and nothing can take it away from him!♥

I'll also put my hands down for best friend, and repeat that Bo's great and Mako is... forever Mako, and while Korra enjoys their company too and misses them a lot while she's here, she's so glad that Asami is here. It's so easy to talk with her about everything, that she wouldn't talk with anyone else in canon. She's a girl, Korra is a girl, and Korra has never had a girlfriend to hang around with until she became friends with Asami! She's forever glad that the stuff that happened with Mako didn't come between them and that they became so close. It's so amazing to be around her, because nowadays she can so easily be herself around her and not have any secrets between them. Korra really loves this close friendship more than she can probably ever express with words, and she's so happy to have her here too because she knows Asami won't leave her either. She'd trust Asami with her life -- well, okay, she'd trust their whole team with her life, but Asami the best friend, who Korra trusts the most. She can relax in Asami's company, just be herself and even when she's bad at something or even in a bad mood, it's always wonderful to have someone calm like Asami around to get her through it. How many people would have let her drive in the first place, and not take the keys away from her when the ride was.. so bumpy XD

In game she's so so so so so so so sooooooo happy, that Asami is here! It's going to be the best possible vacation ever, or at least Korra likes to think so. It's really weird now with the timeline confusions, and she's sorry Asami has had to see her like she's where Asami is from... She can't even understand how bad the situation is, or that she could even be in that situation, but ... well, okay she will worry about it, a lot sometimes even here, but there's really nothing she can do about it here?? She worries about Asami more because girl, you're making heartbreaking faces at her and Korra almost fears like there's something wrong with herself when she's like this when she sees those faces. Well, except Korra is fearless, totally fearless, so no fear here and she'll be determined to get over this thing. She really just wants to enjoy this vacation, have fun, do a lot of fun things with Asami to make them both forget about the misery at home and not worry about it while they're here. Get ready, Asami, she'll be all fired up and ready to go have a lot of fun, adventures and experiences all around the world here. And you're, of course, coming with her, she'll never leave you alone here again!♥♥

P.S. she has no one else to be all clingy to, and that's okay because Asami is here. They can just be clingy to each other together because Korra is a cuddler, hug monster, whatever we call her.

Xion

Somehow she got the idea, that Xion reminds her of the airbender kids -- mostly Ikki -- and now we can't get that out of our heads. But it's not like that's a bad thing, it kind of came up from the fact that she's so cute and new to everything like Ikki, who is still young and excited about so many things! Xion is adorable and Korra really likes her a lot. She'll be curious to find out about stuff Xion finds out about herself / things she'll learn along the way of getting to know herself. She's also really fun to talk with, and easy to talk to, so it's very relaxing to talk with her.

Maka

Hello Demon Scythe Meister girl, who is also cute but you also sound very cool and Korra's first impression of Maka is very good too. She still doesn't get how someone turns into a weapon and then back to human from it, but who is she to wonder about that when she has the avatar state thing... Ahem. Anyway, Maka seems like a really interesting and smart girl and Korra is really excited to meet more girls near her age even, who can fight! She says interesting stuff about other Avatars and seems to know some really weird unique people, there's probably going to be a lot of "Wait, what?" moments from Korra if/when she hears more... But she still really wants to know more and she's really looking forward to talking with Maka a lot more in the future too.
