And if you'd like to talk for hours, just go ahead now

Character Relationships Meme!

1. Leave a comment listing who you play.

2. Reply to one another, asking for details on CR/what their characters think of yours!

3. tl;dr at will!

Holy crap, it's so easy a Weedle can do it. It's not Magikarp-tier simplicity, but that's just because nothing is Magikarp-tier simplicity.

Have at and enjoy!

Carmen on Naegi
Naegi, I think, is the kind of kid that Carmen would've loved to teach or take under her wing back home, had circumstances gone a little differently — which is not to say she'd be interested in training up Naegi to be an international criminal or anything, but I get the sense that she thinks he's the kind of kid who would've done well at ACME? Granted, he says there's nothing special about himself, but in Carmen's perspective that pretty much just means "you haven't found your special thing yet", because that's how she sees people. But Naegi's a personable kid, he's pretty quick-witted, and the most important thing is that he's honestly interested in learning, which is why she thinks he'd do well — unlike Ishimaru, who studies out of a sort of personal obligation to keep improving himself and stay on top of things and whatnot, Naegi seems more the kind of student who's doing it because he likes to learn things, and that's why she's usually more than happy to talk to him about pretty much whatever he wants to know.

Parker on Naegi
PARKER IS STILL NOT ENTIRELY CONVINCED THAT PEOPLE AS NICE AS NAEGI REALLY EXIST. He's got to be hiding something. Definitely. Absolutely. ...Maybe.

No, but Parker likes Naegi a lot, both from her personal experience and because pretty much all the Dangans think highly of Naegi, so in a way he's sort of been adopted as "her protag" too, even if she doesn't know what a protag does or what it means. She would definitely punch somebody who was hassling him. :|b

Kirigiri on Naegi
Dokis forever.

Admittedly, this is a little gratuitous, but one of the things I've really enjoyed about playing out this ship with you in-game is the fact that it's created the opportunity to try to do their CR with a little more finesse than the game itself did — that is, Kirigiri's had plenty of opportunity to be wrong and to grow out of some of her faults, and Naegi's had his own personal development in his individual areas, and I really like that a lot because after what the kids went through in murderschool and everything, I feel like they sort of needed that personal growth and opportunity to interact with others in order to make their own relationship stronger and healthier. I think they really feel a lot more like an equal team these days than being in an arrangement of "plot dispenser and answer provider"; they help each other and listen to each other and care about each other, sometimes in really stupidcute adolescent doki ways and sometimes in much deeper, more profound disaster survivor kinds of ways.

So tl;dr I really like them a lot, and I especially like the way that Kirigiri has grown from her relationship with and feelings on Naegi. :|b
