So what happens when two pompous people who have massive issues with women meet up?
Apparently they get along perfectly well? It's not like Greed ever sets out to be anything but everyone's buddy except for in those very rare cases where he dislikes someone. This isn't really common, actually, so obviously he's decided that Kanyeth is someone he likes. He would rather know more about Kayneth but doesn't ever really like asking people what their stories are unless he has an idea.
Kayneth is one of the people who Greed knows that have been in Johto the longest and if there's one thing that Greed can never get enough of, it's deets. Give him all of the deets!
Nasu magic and FMA alchemy manage to be somewhat mutually comprehensible but I'm sure the more they talk about their respective world's mechanics, the more interested in each other they're going to be. Or at least Greed is going to be!
And if Kayneth ever starts talking about Sola-Ui, oh boy is he going to get Greed's attention fast.
Greed and Cynthia
Cynthia is adorable and is apparently contributing to Greed's slowly adopting all the adorable characters in this game, I swear.
Cynthia is cheerful and all about being a hero so you'd think someone like Greed who is happily a villain would find that behavior annoying at best, but no, instead he really likes her and finds her attitude refreshing. He's used to people either being a stick in the mud or reluctantly doing things. While he doesn't know her very well, he's decided that she must never have her heart crushed.
