Carmen on Greed

Admittedly, a lot of Carmen's interest in Greed stems from the fact that she has something ridiculous like two and a half literal years of CR with Kimblee, and over the course of that CR they've basically told each other pretty much their entire respective life stories, albeit in a really cryptic and roundabout sense (I seem to recall it was only fairly recently that she actually figured out that the seven Homunculi were named after the Seven Deadly Sins, for example). So a lot of the reason why she talks to Greed is twofold — because Greed is pretty forthcoming with a lot of personal information if you get him talking and ask the right questions, and because Greed will understandably have a different perspective on things than Kimblee does, so then she can kind of see what corresponds and what doesn't, and hear things from a different perspective.

...SO SHE WAS UNDERSTANDABLY RATHER CONFUSED WHEN SHE EVENTUALLY FOUND OUT THAT HE'S FROM A PARALLEL UNIVERSE AND WHATNOT.

But all in all she's generally fine with him? He's interesting to talk to and carries a good conversation, and if he flirts with her a little then so much the better because she's pretty much always down for that sort of thing.


Meridiana on Banjou

Okay let me start here by saying I know literally next to nothing about Tokyo Ghoul save for what I've picked up by osmosis, none of which ever mentioned Banjou in any capacity, so I literally had no idea what I was dealing with when I tagged him with Meridiana, outside of "this is a guy who's from the same canon as the guy who eats people that she's traveling with."

...Which is always a good reason to talk to someone.

So what's funny to me about Meridiana and Banjou's CR is the fact that if she ever found out relevant things like the fact that he's a staunch pacifist (I think?) and a reasonably decent guy and whatnot (I assume?), she'd immediately take well to him because given the way a bunch of her own canon events went, she really kind of abhors the idea of fighting and people getting hurt (particularly on her behalf), so she's big on the Pacifism Wow! thing right now.

I think she's a little perplexed by him still, but she's a little perplexed by everyone really, and he was at least reasonably nice to her, which works in his favor. And that's pretty much where she's at so far. :|a
