Boy, I know how that goes, I have some characters that inevitably make me facepalm when I'm sitting there knowing better but I'd be OOC if I didn't go ahead with it anyway. What a pain, right?

Anyway, I figured that was probably IC for Maka, and I don't mind their CR the way it's going now! It's just, as I mentioned, an IC personality clash that's not really likely to produce a friendship until something shifts through natural development. Once Meridiana's had the time to settle in and do some developing of her own, she might come around and be less likely to spook; it's really just a matter of seeing where things go!

I just wanted to give you the heads-up that if Maka does continue on the way she's been going with Meridiana, it's possible it could backfire on her, which again, I don't have any problem with! But you mentioned hoping for them to be friends in particular, so there'd have to be some kind of alternate way of getting at her, as opposed to the previous way they've been interacting.
