[ Chie watches her curiously as the girl looks around, her PokéGear half-raised in case she feels the urge to snap a shot despite the camera function not being good enough for her tastes. Eventually, she decides to speak up and reveal her presence: ]

Oh, I threw it to see if it'd work on humans.

[idolwild]

...

[With a faint noise of confusion, she turns toward the sound of the voice — and it's when she sees the person in the tree that things finally start to add up.

...And given that they're adding up to a pretty dick move, um.]

Don't just throw things at people! What kind of a jerk are you?!

Sooorry. [ She says defensively, lowering the PokéGear she's holding. ] I won't do it again.

You better not! Ugh, what bad luck, I keep meeting people like that...

[Luckily, the flare of temper doesn't seem to last for long.]

Um...but since you're here — do you know where this is?

Route 29, in a region called Johto. [ She idly swings her leg back and forth, thinking about climbing down - but then decides that she's rather comfortable where she is. ]

Who's that Harada-kun guy person were yelling about earlier? Your boyfriend?

[And then, suddenly, the two competing interests that suddenly emerge:

> who the hell doesn't know who harada-kun is, does this person just live under a rock

> she doesn't know who harada-kun is, and therefore she doesn't know that he's not her boyfriend...

Ehehehehehehehehehe...]

Really? You don't know the idol group, C.H.A.? They're world-famous! It's Chiba-kun, Harada-kun, and Ariga-kun, C-H-A!

Nope! [ She shakes her head. ] I've never heard of them before.

...Well, what have you been listening to?

[Mayu, fuckdammit.]

Lots of old stuff, like the Beatles. Sometimes I listen to Ikuma-kun when he plays the guitar, but he's just a local guy trying to earn some extra cash playing songs near the train station.

Well, what is it about them you like?

Well... I like their wide range of songs, and they're nice to listen to even if I don't always understand the lyrics 'cause it's all in English.
