[Micchy and Yuudai are just passing through, but the shiny Greninja grabs his trainer's arm and pulls him along.]

Woah - hey! Careful, Yuudai...

[The Greninja stops and lets Micchy go once they're close.]

... Are you new?

[Yosuke's frog sparkle eyes at the older and higher leveled pokemon, puffing up his chest and thumping it. Look he is big and impressive too?]

WHoa, they get that big?!

[He doesn't realize that's the grown version of his own, of course. But he's assuming that's a similar partner creature at least.]

They do when they evolve, yes.

[Yuudai just nods at the young Pokemon. Yes. Yes you are. Or you will be, with training!]

E-wha?

[Look evolving is something that happens over generations. At least that's what school taught him]

... It's what people call it when they change forms. It's not a great name for it, I know. And Yuudai here is differently colored than most Greninja are.
