These plants are quite impressive. There's nothing like this back in my world.

He's certainly not going to complain about someone else being here; the company is appreciated, really - or, at least, the company he can talk to. He's got his Roserade out with him today, and while at the very least Pharamond is well-behaved enough to remain near his trainer and not get in the Fennekin's face, that doesn't mean he isn't curious about both the fox and its trainer as well.]
Ah, are these new to you as well, mademoiselle?
[Tsukiyama's voice is easy, light without being condescending; his gaze shifts to focus on the flowers without disregarding the person. Not ignoring her, but not staring her down, either.]
I recognize some of them, but not all; there are a good amount that seem unique to this place.
no subject
Yes. These kinds of flowers are beautiful. A lot of the flowers back home happen to be attached to monsters. Though these ones are not without danger, that much I can tell.
[Her Fennekin wiggles his ears before carefully approaching the Roserade. If it attacks, at least he had type advantage.]
The Pokémon here with blossoms attached are proof of that.
Nagisa Hazuki | Free!
Cianwood had the beach.
It's the surfing competitions that attracted Nagisa to start with, not that he actually knew how to surf at all. Of course the water itself is enough to keep him hanging around, but the tide pools dotting the perimeter of the beach are enough to keep his interest for several hours as he and his Piplup carefully navigate their way over the slippery rocks.
Nagisa stoops down near the edge of one of the tiny pools, his Piplup padding over to bend down and peer into the water as well.]
Ehh? What's that down there?
[He points into the water, prompting the penguin to take a deep breath before plunging her head beneath the undisturbed surface to get a closer look. A second later she suddenly goes rigid, flailing her flippers and nearly slipping in just before Nagisa quickly reaches out to jerk her back...
...only to lose his footing and stumble into the water himself. Apparently there was a Tentacool down there who didn't really want to be disturbed, judging by the dark splotch of ink covering the Piplup's face as Nagisa holds her aloft over his head, the two of them thoroughly soaked.]

Of course the cubchoo isn't exactly looking so normal herself, the tiny bear is sporting a one piece swimsuit, the same sort you'd see on a small child. Which must mean she has to belong to someone...
...Someone who finally comes running up, frantic as he catches up to the well dressed cub.]
Cho-chan, you can't just go running off like-
[He stops, noticing she's looking at something and turns around to face...that. Now Nagisa has two sets of eyes on him, both unsure of what they're seeing.
After a good few seconds of awkward silence, Cho finally breaks it by spraying water at the piplup's face. Guess who also knows water-type moves?]
no subject
Before Nagisa can say anything when Teddie comes running up, the sudden chirp of surprise from his starter causes him to very nearly drop her as she receives a blast of water to the face. She sputters and shakes her head briskly as the ink drips off and into the tide pool where the Tentacool is no doubt still lurking, trying to decide what angle would be best to try and poison one of Nagisa's intruding feet.
Nagisa puts the penguin down carefully on the rocks as she shakes herself bodily, though she doesn't actually seem upset by being sprayed. The ink had been more of an ordeal than a little water, after all.]
Ow ow ow...hey, can you give me a hand?

Nagisa shakes his head again, laughing a little as he lifts a hand to brush his hair back.]
Haha...okay, I guess I walked into that one, huh?
no subject
[Nope, sorry, he's on a roll. You can't stop him. In contrast to huffy penguin, Cho can only giggle at the absurdness of the situation. If only they knew there was any sort of danger...
Thankfully another figure steps in, this time Teddie's pangoro who has ran out of patience waiting for her trainer. At first she was almost worried, thinking a sharpedo somehow got him or something, but no. Him and Cho are just being dumb, of course they are. Well she'll show them. If there's one way to ruin the fun, it's getting to the source of the problem. In this case? The idiot in the tiny pool.
With a grunt, she waltz over there and tries her best to fish him out. If you want to live, grab onto the giant scary panda. Just do it.]
no subject
Hey, I didn't do it on purpose!
no subject
You sure fooled me, you looked like you were having a real blast!
[And by blast he means "blast in the face several times." ...At least his piplup did, anyway.]
What're doing all the way out here anyway? You didn't get all lost, did you?
no subject
Nuh uh, we're not lost! Look!
[...and he kneels right back down next to the very pool he just fell into, pointing into it so Teddie will look.]
There are lots of Pokemon in these pools!
Greed | FMA: Brotherhood
Now he's just got to find a good bar to hang out in, so that he can enjoy his possessions the right way - surrounded by them and enjoying the best booze available. The world would be his all in due time, after all.
Maybe he can get a new henchman or two while he's at it. To start with, anyway. ]
no subject
You're going to get a sunburn.
[He normally wouldn't point it out but Greed- this Greed, at least- isn't such a bad guy.]
no subject
Yeah, he remembers him in the fight against Father. Maybe not by name, but he knows the face. Still, the comment earns Mustang a smug look and he shakes his head. ]
Maybe, maybe not. How do you know I don't just want to work on my tan?
no subject
I'd hate to stand in the way of a good tan.
[Even if that's not his style.]
no subject
[ Not like you can pull it off anyway. ]
no subject
You seem to be taking this whole Pokemon things well.
[Nothing makes sense. He still hates it. But it is a nice break from his life.]
no subject
[ Not exactly the secretive type there, Greed... ]
no subject
Remind me that there's someone you need to meet if you ever make it over to Goldenrod. He wants to run this place.
