IT'S GETTING CLOSE TO THAT TIME AGAIN. And to keep all of the gifts from fictional characters to fictional characters organized without flooding the reading list, here's a handy meme to put it all in throughout the month!

So Heather is basically going to be spending ALL HER RISINGBADGE WINNINGS and then some on Christmas gifts, which ain't all too bad when you don't have too many people to shop for. GIFTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

For Henry Townshend: Outside of the obligatory 20-pack snackbox of chip bags and little cereal boxes that are supposed to last through like a month's worth of lunches but will probably only last a week with Henry, Heather's getting her adopted brother A WHOLE PILE OF STUFF this year because guess who's still feeling guilty about that whole camping thing. First thing's first: a hefty volume entitled Pokemon Snap!: A Comprehensive Guide to Nature Photography. Written by Bill and containing a foreword by none other than Professor Oak himself, it's full of both in-depth tutorials, autobiographical anecdotes about the trials of capturing that perfect shot, and of course page after page of dazzling Pokemon photography. Next, there's an actual, bona fide lava lamp. It's shaped like a Goodra, with the belly transparent so that you can see all the purple and green slime blooping around. Lastly, there's a BRAND NEW game for his PokeGear: Pokemon Crossing: TwinLeaf. She is prepared for him to retreat into his Ogre Hut with it and never be seen again.

For Envy: Envy's getting a SMALL PILE of gifts as well, though they're a little less guilt-motivated. First is simple: some tickets to a snowboarding/ski lodge she found while in Blackthorn-- she's not sure Envy's ever BEEN snowboarding but doing flips down a mountain seems like something he'd enjoy so WHY NOT. In terms of actual wrapped presents, he's got a purple Dark-type themed hoodie, a big bulk box of Rage candybars, a set of bright red Zoroark-mane clip-on hair extensions to remind him of that time he didn't have thumbs, and last but not least, a black cord necklace with a jade Dragonair charm hanging from it. The Dragonair is curled into an infinity symbol-- she tried to find one shaped like an Ouroborous but there weren't any. :(

For Lust: Like with Henry, there's a few lingering guilty feelings behind the veritable cornucopia of presents that Lust is getting, too. No wine this time, but there's a cute Fennekin mug and a big gourmet basket stuffed with holiday treats both savory and sweet, everything from fruits and chocolate to crackers and cheeses. Pinned to the top is a note reading "Don't leave this unsupervised around the boys unless you want it all to disappear before you get any! :P". Accompanying the basket is both a taiyaki iron for Magikarp-shaped waffles (it's for the whole house, really, but Heather figured Lust would be the main one making use of it) and asoft package containing a burgundy fleece sweater and some cute floral-print stockings. Nestled between those is the main gift, which Heather waffled over for hours before caving and buying. A little box containing a silver necklace, with a tiny little Espeon and Umbreon atop a small hanging jewel. The design may or may not have made her think of Lust and Scar A LOT.

For Greed: MORE HOME DECOR SHIT, mainly! A big badass poster-print of a Zangoose and a Seviper duking it out to hang up somewhere, a replica of the S.S. Anne in a bottle and a small-but-cool Chandelure-shaped lamp being the biggest among them. She wanted to get him some clothes, too-- but the thing about there being so many badass skiing and snowboarding stores in Blackthorn is that there's too many ridiculous edgelord sports shit designs to choose from. In the end, she couldn't decide between Steel-type or Fighting-type hoodies, so she just got him both. There's also a big bottle of hard apricorn cider, because she knows Greed.

For Alphonse Elric: A long woolen scarf patterned like a Honedge's sash, some Umbreon-print pajamas, a pocket calendar filled entirely with cute pictures of cat Pokemon and trivia ABOUT cat Pokemon, a HUGE jar stuffed with Chingling-shaped chocolate truffles, and, pointedly, a picture book titled "Play Nice"-- about a Zorua and a Spritzee that need to learn how to GET THE FUCK ALONG, ALPHONSE.

For Carter Blake: Do ya like BOOKS, Blake? I SURE HOPE SO because Heather is getting you a SMALL LIBRARY. After his stint as Poke-President, she's not entirely sure she wants to get him anything training-related, so he can have a pile of reading material instead. Forming the stack are: 1. Sabotage in Saffron, a historical account of all the controversy and heated politics that floated around during the building of the Magnet Train, 2. BALLS OF STEEL, a mockumentary-style "autobiography" about Gym Leader Jasmine and her supposed aggressive takeover of Olivine City, 3. a year's subscription to National Park Geographic magazine, and 4. Bucking the Trend, a crime thriller about a grizzled detective from the city being dragged out into a rural corner of Unova on a case and being forced to partner up with an idealistic local sheriff. She grabbed it off the clearance shelf in a Pokemart solely because the dude on the badly-photoshopped cover kinda looked like Blake and the description made her laugh, but she didn't realize that it turns into a steamy gay romance novel about two thirds of the way through. WHOOPS?
ON A LESS STEAMY NOTE, like last year, Steve Buscemi has her OWN little package. But this time, instead of just getting a hodgepodge of beauty supplies, she's got a whole outfit: a Granbull-themed onesie for training in cold weather, or maybe just for when she wants to feel tough. There's some pickled Tepig ear treats for her, too.

For Tobias: She's never quite sure how well this kid takes care of himself, so in the interest of keeping him warm, he's getting some clothes: a big cozy Braviary-patterned hoodie, as well as a pair of sweatpants with the Nimbasa Braviaries logo on them. There may or may not be a theme going on there. There's also a Torchic-shaped hot water bottle.

For Rise Kujikawa: A cuddly stuffed Swablu, some cute Pokemon-themed stationary supplies and an Eeveelution-print canvas totebag.

For Wreck-It Ralph: A little inflatable Wobbuffet-shaped punching bag-- there's a suction cup on the tail where you supposedly attach it to a table or something and then bop the body around. Too bad Ralph could probably break the poor thing just by looking at it. He's also getting this Mt. Silver poster, which she bought in the reception area of Claire's gym. Why? She doesn't know. It made her think of him. Ralph is big, and mountains are also big. Shrug. There's also a little gift-basket of fancy white cheeses shaped like Clefairies. Guess who heard about the Clefable incident.

Wrath understands Christmas slightly better this time around!

THE PROS: Everyone he knows will be getting something slightly more personal, and long-distance friends will actually get something mailed to them, courtesy of someone (Lust, probably) helping Wrath actually wrap things and take them to a post office.
THE CONS: It will mostly all still be stuff he found on the ground outside. SORRY EVERYONE. (At least the rankest of finds will probably get vetoed by the other Homunculi before he actually gives any to people).


For Envy: A reddish-looking rock he found on the beach. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads: "4 NV donut eet it its not a RED STON it just luks lik 1"

For Lust: A bent fork that he extracted from the dishwasher in the Rocket HQ, being the only one who could fit inside to get it. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads: "4 LST. it is brokn but still works". There is also an unopened pudding cup. The piece of paper attached to that one reads: "4 GUTL"

For Greed: A cracked lens to a pair of sunglasses. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads: "4 DARYS GRED sory i bit u".

For Alphonse Elric: A filthy red sneaker with the shoelaces missing. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads: "4 ALL it is red lik ur BROTHR so mayb it makes u think ov him. also it waz WET when i fownd it so mayb it also makes u think ov MOMY to? its dry now tho"

For Wreck-It Ralph: A plastic bag from the Goldenrod Department Store. Inside it are seven (SEVEN!) pudding cups. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads: "4 RALF this is a BAG to use on owr next MiSHiN there is also at leest 5 puding cups iNSiDE (luk inside) those r 4 u (not 4 mishin)"

For Micchy: A plain black T-shirt in surprisingly good condition. This is because he straight up stole it from somewhere. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads "4 MEETHCHEE it is uglee but i remmmmberd that u donut lik COLORS so here it is 4 u i hop u lik it"

For Joker: A handful of bent playing cards, clearly from different decks, that he found in the trash outside of the Game Corner. All of them are from the suit of hearts. There is a piece of paper taped to it that reads: "4 JOKR thank u 4 beng my BROTHR here r some [several heart-shaped scribbles] 4 u"

For Jimmy Darling: An actual shed Corphish claw from the docks. It was boiled and put in a jar to avoid smelling like HORROR when he opens the package. Penny's brand new to the whole Christmas thing, but once she gets a crash course inexperience isn't going to stop her.

Anyone who's had positive CR with her basically if they've talked at all, ever is getting a card with a short Christmas greeting inside.

Dave Strider will be receiving a poofy knit sweater featuring a Delibird in a Santa hat, and a 5-pack of small chemical hand-warming packs.

Jade Harley will be getting a green knit sweater patterned with Cherubi and Winter Sawsbuck, and a warm scarf.

Dipper Pines gets a hardback copy of 'Pokéspotter's Guide to Johto'.

Jimmy Two-Shoes, Naminé, Chihiro Fujisaki, and Alphonse Elric all receive a package containing 1 Potion, 1 Super Potion, 1 Full Heal, and a small pack of Deluxe Poképuffs. Naminé and Al's cards will also include additional notes thanking them for the eggs and a pawprint from the Pokémon that hatched from them; Chihiro's will include an extra note thanking him again for the scarf. Jimmy will also receive a four-pack of 9 volt batteries with a note reading "For Heloise".

This is Naminé's First Christmas Ever, SO! She's going to go all out. All of her gifts will come with a very detailed drawing of them and their favorite team member.

Kairi: A seashell necklace and some freshly baked tiramisu cookies.

Ilya: A snowflake bracelet and chocolate hazelnut cookies.

Rise: Starfish hairpieces (three of them) and pistachio brownies.

Riku: A beach scene-making kit that looks quite a bit like Destiny Island and some mint cookies.

Rise isn't in the best mood for Christmas right now, but she wants to get things for all of her closest friends! Some of these gifts might seem ridiculous, but this is Rise.

Naminé - Since she's been such a rock for Rise this month, not only will she be getting a ton of art supplies (sketchbooks, colored pencils, etc.) and a tote with a Mincinno to carry it all, she'll be getting a Gallade plush toy as well.

Xion - This one was harder, but still thought out. This girl will be getting a tote with a Spheal on it, and some beach supplies (sunscreen, floatie, etc).

Kairi - Since she's always going on about how cute Kairi should be, guess who is going to to get a kit with makeup for beginners, hair ties and bows, glitter bracelets, and other little cutsey things that girls who are finding their inner cute would want. Also, a bracelet ♥

Heather - Adults are hard to shop for, but Heather seems to love traveling, she's getting her a heavy-duty backpack, heavy duty gloves, and a nice thick coat. Because practicality.

Lust - She'll be getting some fashionable handwarmers in several colors so Lust can change them whenever she wants to.

Perry - Dad will be getting a travel espresso/coffee maker, and a matching set of gloves and a scarf that will hopefully not clash with his clothes.

Maka - SHE'S GETTING SOMETHING CUTE IF SHE WANTS SOMETHING OR NOT as in a matching set of gloves/earmuffs/scarf with Buneary on them, and of course a gift card to the bookstore of Maka's choice.

Kaneki - Grooming kit and some new vests, because this boy needs to be a bit more fashionable and look more presentable. Also, he's going to get a giant stuffed Litwick because cute.

Chihiro - A big book on Computers Through the Ages, a set of cute little charms with different Eeveelutions, more yarn for his Pokémon, and a giftcard to Honeyed Souls.

Blake - Like Perry, Blake's gift involves coffee. Specifically 5lbs of the most caffeine laden coffee, which is blond coffee. It'll come in a cute little Snubull bag.

Botan - GHOST PEPPER BALLS. Seriously. And a cute infinity scarf in Mismagius colors, along with some treats for the Pokémon, made by Rise. They should be edible

Dipper's a kid. So the people who talked to him that's he's unsure about (Perry, Rossiu, Nonon, Cecil, and Kaneki) are getting card with drawings and descriptions about monsters from his world as a warning, but they might look like cute cards at first until opened. Then it'll just say "Merry Christmas" in them.

People he's more sure about are getting cards with P100 in them people like money as gifts, right? along with drawings, but of less dangerous monsters, and a little message to each about how nice it was to talk to them, and they should do it again. (Wirt and Draculara)

Komasan is getting a card with a pamphlet about illnesses you can actually get from cold weather. (none, because you actually have to be around someone who is sick to get sick. WASH YOUR HANDS)

Jade is actually getting a real gift. She's going to get a travel spa kit because spa stuff in Cherrygrove. (He'd get one for Mabel, too, if she was here)

Naminé is getting a card apologizing again for making her cry, and a box of Poképuffs.

Dave is getting hat with a Pokéball emblem on it.

Penny IS GETTING SHOES THAT LIGHT UP so she'll stop sneaking up on people.

Pretty much most of his CR is getting a gift basket full of homemade cookies (and before Christmas he'll also extend the gift to anyone who asks for it, especially the new arrivals since Perry worries that they won't get anything else but anyone is welcome to take it). Closer CR will also get a card in them wishing them a great holiday and a happy new year.

Kaneki—The complete Sherlock-- I mean Shelgon Holmes, little chocolate boxes that look like books, and a scarf that literally has Dracula printed on it.

Sora—A Swablu hat, jaunty matching blue scarf, and some chocolate and peppermint Pokemon-shaped cookies

Riku—Dragon (type) gloves , this shirt, and some gingerbread Pokemon

Chie—A waterproof camera pack because some Pokemon get things wet fast. Also Christmas cake because that's a thing in Japan apparently.

Draculaura—Obviously bat bows for her pigtails.

Dave—One Shitty Deviantart Turtle scarf with matching hat and red and white polka dot earmuffs. In addition, one tacky Santa on a Rapidash flying through space sweater.

Lust—…A bottle of chocolate wine (sorry dad) and a get well medicine cabinet with a note saying "for next time". Also a necklace.

Scar—Housewarming gifts: extra-long showerhead extension and extra-large clothes hangers for an extra-large dad. He will also get a very big and warm jacket, a box of fudge, and Pokemon treats for the pokes.

Joker—The most horrendously tacky light-up tie ever, a box of vintage candy from the 1800s, Pokemon treats for Angel

Twilight--this purse, this bracelet and a box of macarons

Chihiro--A box of macarons, scarf and hat set that is probably some cute Pokemon like Zigzagoon, and an external harddrive (because you can never have too many of those)

Asami--This watch. Because it's awesome, look at it.

Korra--Gets a very thick coat whose color scheme is modeled after Walrein, furry bits and all. Both Korra and Asami get a box of fudge to share.

Rise--A Sylveon infinity scarf + matching hat and gloves. She also gets a mini Christmas cake.

So Komasan is still kind of new, so he doesn't know a ton of people to give special, personalized gifts to. As such, anyone who's at least talked to Komasan at all and gave him their name will be getting a really bizarre looking ponyta plush. ...Because he thinks it's hilarious.

To those he has gotten just an itty bit close to during his time here, they will not only be getting a special gift, but also a tiny clay sculpture of one of their Pokemon he's seen. Komasan is apparently a very gifted sculptor, so they'll be top quality.

Chihiro will be getting a sculpture of Hogosha, as well as some things for his computer. Like an adorable mouse pad and maybe some other stuff if someone wants to help him out with shopping. Because he's computer dumb and will pick out something stupid if no one helps him.

Draculaura will be getting a singular sculpture of all the bats that appeared in her last video, huddled together and generally being really cute. He's also going to include some ribbons and accessories similar to pop star Pikachu, an idea he got after buying a similar set for his Dunsparce. A note will be included, assuring her that he picked out the "freakiest" looking ribbons he could find. So by freaky, he means...pink. I guess.

Dipper will be getting three pairs of pants and a blanket because this child is going to die. And even though he doesn't deserve it, he's going to get a tiny sculpture of Lamby as well. Hopefully he's learned to treat his FUZZY FRIENDS BETTER BY TIME HE GETS THEM.

There's still a heck of awhile before Christmas though, so if he gathers more CR, then he'll make stuff for them, too! He's just kind of stuck in that horrible newbie phase. Enjoy your ponies.

Kaneki—This hoodie and a box of handmade Pokemon treats.

Kirigiri—This coat except in dark purple + an apple cinnamon coffee cake with a note saying she hopes Kirigiri is doing well.

On Elsa's birthday she will have had a cake decorated with Snorunt and snowflakes and powdered sugar sent over to her. It's blue velvet so yes, it's chocolate. Her gift is a handmade journal and a sweet pen.

Ralph gets a sweatshirt big enough to fit him that says Cianwood Gym: The Fightin' Fighting Types. Bossy, well, Steve couldn't think of anything that could measure up to the necklace she gave her, but she thought about how a Ground-type must hate the cold and wet, so she got her a little raincoat and boots (they have little Duckletts on them), and a claw-knitted sweater (Blake provided grumbling help with anything that required thumbs here and there.)

Ash gets a box of good cigars. He seems like the kind of guy who'd appreciate classy things. Steve adds some homemade peppermint fudge.

Speaking of classy, Carmen gets a book of T.S. Pidgeot poems from Blake (selected by Felix Hernandez), and, for her little computer bird, a flash drive full of beats and samples put together by Steve and Captain Lou Albano the Ludicolo, who has turned out to have a knack for music.
