SAD GAY COP thinks TOUGH NIECE is pretty damn awesome. He wasn't sure at first, since he would tend to write off a girl her age, since he's an asshole, but she's proven herself tough and resourceful, and surprisingly good to talk to. She's one of the people hes known here the longest who's stuck around, so in a weird way she's kind of a peer.

RUBBISH YOUTH is like a weird, scruffy, biting puppy you find on the street. He's strange and probably dangerous, but somebody's abandoned him, you still want to bring him in and give him his shots. Obviously this master and whatever cult she had did some nasty shit to him, and that burns Blake up bad. He doesn't want to scare him off because he's got an urge to look out for him. Maybe helping one hurt, traumatized kid can even out the karmic debt for the ones he failed.

Stay the hell out of his garbage, though. You're gonna get salmonella.
