What you're looking for: Oh jeez, where do I even start... Negative CR is probably what I've got the least of right now, so that's probably the best thing to work on, but really I'm up for just about anything.

Blurb: Serious business, kinda sarcastic, very intellectually inclined... oh, yeah, and she's actually a purple unicorn.
Plans: She's finally got her first badge at Ecruteak, so she's heading down to pretty much steamroll the three before that (Violet, Azalea, Goldenrod), but she'll be sticking around Violet for a while because Princess Celestia! /swoon Also, she's a member of the PGC, so she can definitely be counted on to do some counter-Rocket activities if anyone needs something like that.

Location Violet City, and he'll be there a while, at least until his Pokes are up to taking on Falkner.
Blurb: Illidan is... complicated. He's kind of a grouch, but if you're helping him out he can be very nice and polite. He's a bit mentally unbalanced, but he's also clever and thoughtful. And he's pretty much the definition of "anti-hero". Adapting to the fluffy Poke world isn't going very easy on him. And it doesn't help that he's blind.

Also, he has a recently evolved Gabite who thinks he's delicious.

Plans: Nearly all the plans I've got in store for Illidan are very long range and involve him having a strong team, so right now he's got nothing but absurd training regimens and getting ready to take on Violet City gym. So yeah, he is wide open.

Apollo must befriend all the animals-turned-humans, whether he likes it or not. XD

I've got a feeling that Illidan and Apollo might have some interesting interactions, but it's been so long since I've played Warcraft that I don't know what. Does Illidan care about the state of nature? I don't remember.

That's actually a pretty difficult question to answer. As a Night Elf, he has a bit of an innate link with nature, so it's hard for him not to care. However, he has kind of a feud with his brother over Druidism, so he's not exactly of the "oh look it's nature it must be protected" view of things. The easiest way to sum up his thoughts on the matter is that he thinks nature is important because of what it supports, not for its own sake, and he's willing to do great damage now to help things out later (like blowing up the northern continent to get rid of the Lich King).

Apollo puts nature ahead of humans, himself. He'd probably be a good druid, really.

This does not endear him to Illidan. Though frankly, Illidan doesn't care so much about humans, or really any species in general, as he does about anyone who chooses to ally with him. He's very much a leader type, and he looks after those who throw their lot in with him first, everyone else second. A distant second.

I applaud you so much for picking up Illidan Stormrage. Can I just say that? Also, I'd be totally up for throwing Valeria (when_turks_fly) his way. She's in Violet City and she'll be there for a while with her traveling companion, Lea, earning money and training her pokes up for the gym challenge.

I'd also love to drum up some more CR between Twilight Sparkle and Hikaru.

Why thank you! He's not exactly easy, but he's one of my favorite characters ever and I'm really enjoying the chance to actually get out there and do things with him. And anyone who wants to come pester him is more than welcome. He's a grouch, but he really does need people around him. Being locked in prison for ten thousand years gives you a bit of starvation for social interaction.

And I'm all up for that, just keep in mind that Twilight's thoughts on Hikaru right now basically amount to: "Yes, we're ponies. Yes, we're intelligent and have a society. You can stop being amazed by that any moment now." She's just too polite to say it.

You're very welcome and hey, you earned it. You're doing a pretty amazing job with him as far as I can tell. Valeria can also handle grouchiness pretty well. She's pretty good at adapting.

afskldj I apologize for Hikaru. She's... Hikaru. That's the best way I know to sum it up. She doesn't realize she's being a complete dork about this. At all. Or she'd stop. Seriously.

It's not the dorkitude Twilight minds (she's practically the poster child for Adorkable, herself), it's just that everyone asks these things and she's just like... "Why is this so hard to understand?"

Because clearly everyone should be expected talking, magical technicolor ponies to end up being a part of their lives. Clearly.

Aaaah, I gotcha. Poor Twilight. I imagine that would get pretty old pretty fast and you've got more people coming in every week with close to the same reaction probably.

Yeah, it's gotten to the point where she hardly even mentions what she is, because she knows full well what the reaction will be.

I've enjoyed the couple of threads my two have had with Illidan so far. Neither of them are around Violet, but I'd love to toss them at him again some time. ^^

I'll do my best to get a new post up for him at some point in the not-to-distant future. He was searching for a Dunsparce in Dark Cave right before the Fourth Wall event (because he needs at least one blind Pokemon), so I figure his next post will either be him finally finding one or asking for more information.
