As promised, here are the results of the CR Lottery I announced last week!

Below the cut, you'll find the pairs, as determined via Random Number Generator. I did my best to make sure that the paired characters don't usually talk, but if I made an error, please let me know here, and I will do my best to accommodate any changes.

(also you may notice that there was an odd number of characters signed up, so I took all the paired characters and ran the randomizer again to give someone the outlier as a second partner. ...The randomizer just likes me, okay. ._.)

Hi! This is Dist's player who was a failure and only just now realized this post went up.

I'm not familiar with Geddoe's canon but I just browsed through his app and...lmfao yes this shall.

Well to be fair all I know of Dist is what I've seen in various RPs, so. Yes. |D Any ideas for having them run into each other? Geddoe isn't very talkative on the network, but I'll probably be doing a post with him soon asking if there's any other work besides, y'know. Being a clerk in a shop. Since thaaat doesn't work out so well for an unsociable mercenary....

Weeeell, Dist is currently at the Rocket base in Goldenrod, and I'm not sure when he's actually going to travel because too much awesome science is going on to leave. Maybe they can run into each other whenever Geddoe reaches Goldenrod?

I can cook up a response to your post too, although Dist's not really the advice-giving type unless it has to do with science.

It's a possibility! Though I'm not sure when Geddoe would hit up Goldenrod, although it's likely at the latest he'll head either there or to Ecruteak after the pokemon centers get exploded in the event.

Although, alternatively, would Dist have any interest in hiring a mercenary for anything? Geddoe would turn down anything that's going TOO far, but he has few qualms about doing the occasional shady work...

Oh, I like that idea. Though at the moment, Dist's plans are in the baby stages so he doesn't have a real need for that kind of mercenary work. So rain check on that? Haha.

However, would Geddoe be opposed to capturing some wild Pokemon if Dist paid him? For example, Dist would like a Beldum but he doesn't have the time to travel all the way to the Ruins of Alph to get one. Not sure if Geddoe's mercenary business falls under that but it's a thought.

Might depend on whether Dist gives the impression that he'd take good care of the pokemon caught, but I doubt Geddoe would see a problem with the idea in theory- other people sell eggs all the time, so why not the actual pokemon? and so on. I mean, he's not gonna STEAL pokemon, or hand something over to someone who's plainly just going to abuse it, but if it pays for the inn and the cheap beer and Geddoe's actually in the mood to BOTHER in the first place then a job's a job. Really the only caveat with Geddoe is that while he's definitely a far cry from a knight in shining armor or such, he does have a very personal sense of what lines he will and won't cross, but in most cases he'd refuse a job offer up front if it wasn't something he'd be willing to do.

Well let's hope Geddoe doesn't come across Dist's first post then...hahaha...ha.

But yes, that makes perfect sense to me. And Dist knows better than to have other people meet his theft quota for him...for now anyway. If it's a Pokemon he's truly interested in, he's not going to abuse it. Which means he wouldn't be going out of his way to pay someone to catch a Pokemon he wasn't interested in. In the end, it's Geddoe's call though. c:

Nah, Geddoe hadn't arrived in Johto quite yet then, and he considers using the network to be a pain enough as it is. Although that post is arguably more pathetically impotent than actually bad, really.... XD

Well, I suppose Dist could make the offer ICly and we can see where it goes? Just, y'know, it totally won't be Geddoe's fault if the pokemon he happens to capture turns out to be slightly willful and/or defiant.... ;)

Sounds good. And I'm all for defiant Pokemon; it makes Dist's life more difficult and it also makes things more amusing. He'll probably blame Geddoe anyway, though...sob.
