This jerk over here has actually survived encounters with two legendaries. And loves to talk. So Carmen can probably get some info out of Cobra?

Also, I don't have anything specific planned, but I was wondering how you feel about Cobra adding Carmen's identity to his list of demands or threatening an attack if her identity isn't revealed?

Oh, hm! That's actually a really interesting suggestion — I mean, it makes perfect sense that he would and I could see some really neat consequences coming out of it if he did. Depending on the attack he was threatening (and really, how credible a threat she thought it was), that would probably be enough to get her to show herself, honestly — she definitely wouldn't sit around and hide if people were going to get hurt because of her, so it'd definitely force her into reacting. The problem is, it'd also out her as a thief to Johto in general and that in itself is going to come with some pretty major consequences, CR-wise, so I don't want to make any definite decisions before I've had a chance to think about how we could play that.

So I guess tl;dr I'm not averse to the idea by any means (because it's an awesome one), but if we did, we'd have to kind of finesse how to handle it?

Makes perfect sense to me!

He'd rather be declared Emperor of Johto and given his own city anyway, so leaving that off his list isn't a big deal. He'll just continually make this reaction at anonymous texts on the Gear and complain about it.

Maybe there's a way we can do it such that he's not demanding her identity outright, but just for more general details on her somehow? I'll definitely keep working on it and see if I can come up with something that would let him call her out like that without outright forcing her to fess up. o/

At the moment I'm toying with the idea of doing something like...I don't know, if maybe he dared her to show up in person and stop his next heist? Because she'd absolutely rise to the challenge for that, but then that'd also leave open the possibility of it not spreading to all of Johto, and then just because he met her in person wouldn't necessarily mean he'd know her name (though he would have her description, if he saw her)...

TL;DR I'm working on it and I'll definitely stay in touch with you to see if we can work this out somehow!
