➀ No matter what has transpired in the past, you shall always be one of my knights. One does not take such an oath lightly and in doing so, it has bound us together in ways that are unbreakable. What ignorance I held before in the subject has been lifted away through the aid of my own hardships in love, so I understand. I long for the day in which we could discuss this matter further.
➁ Even in your youth (and believe me, you are considered as such), you show bravery I have only seen in myself. It takes a good heart and conviction unlike any other to stand up to do right in this world. I am honored to have met you. Even more to be considered your ally.
➂ We have only begun to talk recently amongst ourselves in this place, yet you share an understanding with me that so many have yet to. I fear allowing others to get close, so please bear with me until such walls have been brought down in a manner that's not likely to get me up in arms.
➃ You may have thought it to be manipulation of the mind due to the liquor, but I had meant those words. At least then. Now I am uncertain of everything. Awkwardness between knights is so unbecoming of us, so I can only pray that this does not last very long. Knowing how you behave though? I suspect it will be dealt with soon enough.
➄ With your arrival, this place became Avalon. I think words of that nature need not be spoken and if a need ever were to rise, I hope that courage will lift the words free from my throat. To be a knight without anyone to protect is a unsettling thought. Ah, but what of Shirou you may ask. The boy has grown up in ways I never thought possible. I admire his strength and the way he can hold a blade. He might have not told you, but he fought against an opponent I fought as well. The boy has no need for me, but perhaps you do. I know this will not last long, but I treasure every single day as much as the one previous. Every word, memory and thing about you will forever be etched into my memory. I shall remain at your side for as long as you will have me. Ah, but while I am being honest... perhaps you could take some lessons from Shirou in the kitchen?
➅ If Merlin had told me you would be such a valuable ally within my first week of living at the Breeding Centre, I might have laughed at such a gesture. How could I possibly expect someone who knows not of knights and broadswords to ever understand me? Yet, your patience and kind heart have changed my opinion of you over the past year. It has been a painful one, but I can only hope that we can continue to look towards the future with our heads held high. That is what they would wish for us most, yes?
➆ The kind heart of a queen and the courage of a knight. You share many traits with the kind of men I admired from afar, my lady. I am confident that no matter where you go, people will be drawn in towards your optimistic charisma. I know that I am.
➇ Sometimes I find myself longing for our relationship to be different. No longer are we Master and Servant, no matter how much I wish for it, for you have grown past the stage of requiring such things. You can defend yourself and therefore no longer need a sword to do it for you. Sometimes I feel as though I am dragging you down and I suppose events of recent have proven that. I thank you for taking care of me when I need it, so please do not take this as a sign of being ungrateful. I just wish it was alright for me to hold onto your hands when it comes to things beyond swimming lessons.
➈ I may have been bested by your so-called champion, but I still hold in my possession what will be your downfall. Continue to hide away as a coward will, for when the opportunity presents itself, I will be the one to take you down.
➉ Everything I could ever say... it would be meaningless for it will never reach your ears. I just hope that all remains well with you back home.
