Just driving by to mention that your whole subplot with Amanda over Halloween was amazing and really interesting to read and also got me to look up Spencer's canon (though my research tells me I might be a little too squeamish to actually watch more than clips of funny scenes on Youtube...).

Also I want to find an excuse to tag Spencer some time. The main issue is just finding something Ryner would actually be pinged by, but that's mostly just a matter of me thinking about it.

Well, what would Ryner by pinged by? Maybe I can work something in. :) I can't tag much with Reid outside of his own posts, mostly because he's shy as all hell, but we could try working out a way for them to talk. He's usually pinged by his areas of expertise.

(That'd be great if you could ^^ I'd definitely be interested in watching a least a couple.)

What catches Ryner's interest really kind of depends on the day and how it's presented, in a way. The best chance would be discussions of legends or magic, but occasionally other things interest him too. Like cool things you can do with technology, or certain types of Pokémon, or other random things sometimes. He's also got a menagerie of twenty mons (...sob when did he get so many) that can prod him into saying something if they're interested in the topic, but their interests tend to be somewhat harder to predict...

(Don't know how you're squeamish, but here you go: I consider The Uncanny Valley, Heathridge Manor, and Mosley Lane to be among the best episodes, and there's very little blood or explicit violence in any of them, but there's implied and/or confirmed incest in Uncanny Valley and Heathridge Manor, all three involve some kind of child abuse, and Mosley Lane WILL make you cry. They're all really intense to watch, so if you need something a little easier but still with minimal blood, Self-Fulfilling Prophecy is really good, but there is a theme of suicide and bullying in that one (although I remember pumping my fists and saying 'fuck yeah' at the end, so it's fun).)

Well, someday when Reid's more settled, he's going to start work on making an fMRI and he's going to make a post asking people for various materials/mons/expertise he needs for that, so you think that may pique his interest?

(Honestly, what I'm squeamish about tends to be less general violence/blood and more explicit on-screen torture and drugs and sexual themes and stuff... But I'll look those up!)

It might, if he explains what an fMRI does. From a quick Google search (...yes I had to look up what it is), it definitely sounds like the kind of cool technology thing that would be interested in learning about ^^

Then I'll make sure to make a big post about that when Reid's settled enough to start really getting elbow-deep in research. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye on your posts to see if there's anything Reid would respond to.
