Greetings once again, Route! With a few gatherings looming at the end of the month, now seems a good time to post the--
CR / PLOTTING MEME
You all know what to do, so here is your handy dandy form to fill in!
There you have it! Reply with that info then hit up new people, prod the CR you want more with, make some more plans for prom, the idol concert... or just use this to add folks on your contact method of choice. Make use of it as you will, Route!

Which reminds me; his Archen is going to be evolving early this week, so he'll go from having a vicious and territorial rock bird to a vicious and territorial rock bird that can fly. He won't even be trying to ride her anytime soon.

And oh boy, sounds like fun! XD

Apollo isn't letting her near his HMs if he can help it. The last thing he needs is her learning even more attacks. He's also confused by how she and Fearow managed to, without Apollo around, get a Move Tutor to teach them both Tailwind without Archen attacking them. All he's been able to get out of Fearow is that Archen didn't attack, not why she didn't.
As for what traveling with Apollo would be like, his normal traveling day goes: get up with the sun, go swimming if there's a body of water nearby to stay clean and also because he likes it, start walking, have some raw vegetables or fruit on the road sometime after noon as a light snack (he'll pick wild plants if he sees anything), keep walking until it's dark or he gets tired, cook a piece of meat in the steak to ham size range, and fall asleep. No breakfast, no real lunch, no understanding of how anyone could be hungry often enough to need either. Also, as demonstrated by the awkward situation he creates for two girls in canon, he has no nudity taboo, so he won't think twice about changing in front of people or talking with someone while one or more parties have no clothes on. While I see no reason to play it out anytime soon, if the weather was right and he was somewhere where he wouldn't have to deal with potentially getting scratched by branches or long grass he would have no problem with not wearing anything if it would be more comfortable. Again, he doesn't understand how anyone could have an issue with something like that.

And pfft, in a way that isn't too different from how Geddoe does things. Though he's probably more likely to take 2-3 smaller meals in the breakfast/lunch/dinner style than one large one, but he's used to the whole mercenary/traveling in the grasslands thing where food isn't fancy or even reliable. That and he's more likely to start looking for a place to stop earlier in the evening rather than just pressing on until dark and hoping for the best, but yeah, sounds like Apollo's style really isn't that far off from what Geddoe's used to anyway.
...though while he wouldn't personally care all that much, he'd probably eventually point out to Apollo that he should make sure to have some clothes on when around towns. But I doubt he'd have a problem with Apollo skinny-dipping and showing up back at camp without anything on, since that's probably the sort of thing that'd be likely to happen with a mercenary group (not to mention some of the Grasslanders....) anyway. XD

Apollo's lived a hunter-gatherer lifestyle his whole life so he doesn't feel the need to be fancy about things. The main difference in their experiences seems to be that Geddoe's used to traveling and occasionally encountering civilization, or at least other people in non-hostile situations, whereas Apollo's used to having at most one other human around and a base camp to return to every night, so he didn't have experience finding or setting up campsites before he came here.
Apollo was raised by his Grandpa, so my assumption is that it was a result of his Grandpa not thinking to mention it, since they were both guys and no girls were around. I'm still trying to avoid him walking around town naked, but in the case of going swimming I have no choice but to bring it up otherwise I'm being OOC, since he's shown on-screen as taking that approach (granted, Silvia looking up and discovering that she's at eye-level with his junk is a pretty funny scene). One of those awkward situations in RPing I guess. ^_^;

And yeah, Geddoe's used to both types of living, though he seems to be a little more comfortable in the grasslands than in the heart of civilization, and prefers the sort of border town type of place. Apollo would honestly probably remind him of some Grasslander kid who's never been to a big city before, so he'd probably actually mention a thing or two since he doesn't have the rest his team from home around to do it for him.

Apollo wouldn't understand they "why" behind it, but he'd go along with it anyways, just like he goes along with wearing shoes to go into stores even though he thinks it's stupid. It's just one of those "weird civilization things" to him.
So when is Geddoe planning on hitting the road?
no subject
Well, he's won his badge, so probably either whenever he manages to earn some extra money (if there's any work to be had in the area he'd care to do) or runs out of money (if there isn't any suitable work and he's been hitting up the bar). So basically anytime within the next couple weeks. He's in no rush if left to his own devices, but if the subject of leaving for Blackthorn happens to come up he'd probably decide to do.

I can just say that Apollo's trying out doing a few weeks of work at once so he doesn't have to think about it later instead of just one week whenever he needs money. He's working at the Pokémon Center, if you're wondering.
Feel free to PM this account when Geddoe decides to leave so we can avoid any continuity snarls, assuming it doesn't come up in any threads first.

And sounds good! Geddoe... would definitely not go for working at the pokemon center unless someone talked him into it, because he is SO not a people person, but he might hang around town for a bit one way or another. Check out the Lake of Rage, maybe fish up some magikarp to sell to trainers too lazy to catch their own, idk. XD

Apollo isn't really either, but he's a Pokémon person, so it's the better option for him. He's picking up a lot about pokémedicine at least.
And how lazy can trainers be? XD

YOU'D BE SURPRISED
I mean the magikarp salesman presumably makes a profit....
