Also, I must give you props myself - FFIV is my third-fave FF game (it's behind Tactics and FFVI now hahaha), and I always enjoy seeing your Cecil around. ♥
Alex, Alex bby! What is there to say? You play nostalgia (which I'm sure you've heard every single time ever), and your Kirigiri is also really fun to jump off of!!! ♥
We haven't done much together, but I'm enjoying our current thread a lot. Silent Hill characters have always been hard to integrate into slice of life games like this, but you're doing an amazing job. It always blows my mind to see them last a long time in a game.
Ever have one of those moments where there's so many things you want to say but you can't figure out how to put them?
Yeah, that's me with your Xion. Ever since I noticed the similarities between the two and tossed Ilya at you, they've been inseparable and a large part of that is just because of how much I enjoy playing off of you. The subtleties in your responses as she tries to hide things, the sharpness when she gets angry, the reserved and simply joy in her happiness, and the slow build of a bond between these two... it's all terrific and I am so glad to be able to play off of you. I could keep going, but I think this comment is gushy enough already, don't you?
I know I've told you all this before but the whole world has to know.
Initially, I didn't like Tenten as a character. I thought she was just the token female of Team Gai who didn't really do that much and had to get her ass saved by her teammates that one time with Kisame. Then I met you and played with your Tenten, and you changed my attitude about the character forever. I got to see more characterization from her, got to see her as more of a kunoichi in her own merit and as a lovable flawed living and breathing human being.
Her transition into Route's setting has been nothing less than perfect as well! How she acts regarding the pokemon and the confusion she faces from trying to adapt to the more 'peaceful' world are incredibly well-presented by you, and I am being completely honest when I think that there is no way you can improve her characterization from here. Just keep doing what you're doing with developing her!
But, it isn't just about the character. You are also a fantastic friend who is always supportive and ready to listen, even when your emotions are on the boiling point. It's a great sign of maturity and strength in you, and it's why I personally feel privileged to also have you as a friend outside of just role-playing with you. Keep on rocking, Jade. You are a wonderful person and I hope you never forget that.
Can I seriously just gush about Twilight for awhile here? I'm so glad I have a character who's really seemed to hit it off with her, because she's adorable and smart and it's been such fun to play off her when she and Kirigiri get together and go off on a detective nerd bender. I JUST WANT THEM TO SOLVE ALL THE MYSTERIES OF JOHTO, OKAY. And moreover I think they have a lot in common in some respects, at least as far as the whole "quiet and keeps to themselves but then eventually FRIENDSHIP!! and also saving the world kinda?" thing goes.
But yes, you're a delight to play with and I'm so glad you tagged her, because that thread was amazing and I'm hoping for many more in the future. c:
your Jack is such a cutie! I like the dynamic in his and Akito's friendship - it's so different from the CR I have with Jacks in other games, and just as wonderful!! I love it. ♥
Like, even though Akito thinks Jack is cute u///u I like that because of the setting itself he doesn't really have the dokidokis for him, but just adores hanging out with him because of how much he reminds him of his best friends from home. And may or may not appreciate the view whenever the opportunity arises.
You know, I was a little worried when I let Yagyuu go that I wasn't going to be able to play with you as much, since he was my close connection to Saber and that was kind of my direct hotline to you there, but can I just say I'm so glad that Kirigiri and Morgiana are hitting it off so well? And I have NO IDEA how that happened but it's pretty fantastic to watch! I'm canonblind, admittedly, but the voice you have for her is really strong and suits her well, I think, and it's been a blast to play off of you.
And between that and running the Breeding Center, you're just kind of fantastic all around and in so many ways that it'd be hard to spell them all out. ♥
Kayneth is a cool dude. I still admire the way you've set up his team with an artistic theme, and Kayneth himself has such a distinct personality. I've enjoyed the silly speculation Riku's had with him and his sorta... aloofness compared to the happy, friendship themed Pokémon world. The fact that he's got a Stunfisk is all kinds of awesome, too. c: The messages he post to the network tend to be very engaging as well.
I STILL SHIP RYUUNOSUKE/KIRIGIRI YOU CAN'T STOP ME
also mondo/asahina but i digress
I'm so glad to be a part of your cast, man, but I have to admit that the real delight for me is Parker and Mondo, because how the hell did that happen but I AM SO GLAD IT DID. He really brings out the best/worst-best in her, and that's something I'm really grateful for because it's a side that's important to her character, but that I don't always have the opportunity to show off and play with. And Mondo in general is just so...his voice is great and he's believable and I love that you're not afraid to let him mess up and make mistakes and just generally be the incredibly stupid boy he is, while also making him work towards becoming a better person regardless of the setbacks he experiences along the way. It's really magical to watch.
While I know next to nothing about Naruto, it's been fun following Sasuke's development. He's had to put up with a lot between the tournament, the arrival and departure of Itachi, and all the little roadbumps he's faced throughout his journey. It's been enjoyable to follow-- especially his friendship with Sora. I know you've been having a bit of burnout lately, but I do like seeing Sasuke around and hope to poke him more in the future. :D
Much like Xion, you've been a ... well, honestly, a constantly abused source of information, knowledge and advice. If there's been a problem you've always been willing to help me out, from figuring out a post to figuring out how to make a link on plurk. You've never turned me away or told me to figure it out on my own. I know I probably pester you for things more often than I should, but you've always tolerated my stupid questions and silliness. ... And it means a lot to me. Thank you.
