Joker will definitely be interested in shapeshifting! His current approach to Johto is "I am so lost and have no idea what the hell is going on, so I'm just going to go along with it for my sanity", so shapeshifting won't freak him out as much and he'll be able to focus on how frickin' rad it is.

...I keep coming back to Heather posts/threads and thinking "you know, she and Walter could probably get along given exactly the right circumstances, but hell if I know what those circumstances are, and I can see how other circumstances might end in unmitigated disaster."

okay yeah I definitely think Walter and Mondo could get along. It's a shame Walter's literally a region away, because he'd be up for sparring partner-type things and/or Pokemon battle rivalries and all that kind of casual tough-kid acquaintanceship...stuff. What you're looking for: Since Route is a very character based game and I always feel like I've struggled to really develop meaningful CR, I'd really like to start developing relations with him. I don't mind if they're positive or negative.

Blurb: Latvia is the personification of the nation of the same name and looks about twelve despite being centuries old. Even though officially he's meant to be fifteen in human years let's be honest, his height doesn't do him any favors. Generally quiet and feels safest in a calm environment but he is quite fretful. Still doesn't quite get the whole Pokémon thing.
Plans: Since it still hasn't really sunk in that this world isn't the same as his yet, Latvia has just spent every day working and patiently passing the time. Frankly he's getting a little bored though. I'd like something to encourage him to start travelling again, be it a travel partner or someone asking him to come to a different place. Just in general I'd like for him to find some kind of direction or goal. Since he's fond of gardening I was toying with the idea of him learning how to cultivate berries.

Just sliding in to say that I've really enjoyed what little CR Latvia and Akira have had so far. He's actually pretty fond of the kid and if it's okay with you I'd really like to continue that.

I don't know if or when Latvia will ever make it to Goldenrod. If there's some kind of postal system maybe they could be pen pals or something? He's only just getting used to modern technology so he still likes doing things the old fashioned way.

Of course! I'm fond of their cr so far too! I'm pretty sure I read somewhere there was a post service, like carrier pidgeys or something, so I'm totally up for that. Akira isn't likely to stay in Goldenrod much longer anyway, so maybe they'll see each other on the routes some day too!
