What you're looking for: I'm pretty happy with how my CR has been branching out lately, but I'm still always in the market for fast-paced character-developing interactions among my trio — the kind of regular, repeated interaction that leads to a gradual but long-term organic friendship, as opposed to anything particularly significant in an individual capacity. Carmen can always do with more people around her age to get up to shenanigans with; Parker tends to keep to herself but if there are people out there who can roll with her particular brand of crazy, that's always a plus; Kirigiri is actually coming along nicely as far as her development is concerned, but she can always use more friends, too. Basically, I'm really looking for people who are up for fun, lighthearted one-off encounters that ultimately get strung together into a bigger narrative — the kind of friendships that sneak up on you and hit you over the head before you even realize they've happened.

Blurb: Kirigiri is a Japanese teenager whose Super High School Level talent (that is, the unique quality she's particularly renowned for) is one of the canon's big mysteries and therefore I will not spoil it here! However, she's also a pretty excellent detective and joins Naegi in SOLVING ALL THE CRIMES that take place in murderschool, so there's that! She tends to be fairly reserved and is generally not big on soliciting people for social interaction; she likes to hang out on the sidelines and watch before really coming out of her shell at all, to the extent that sometimes people forget she's even there. She also has kind of a hilarious tendency of ending conversations by just WALKING THE FUCK AWAY so if ever you are threading with her and she does that, IT'S NOT YOU, IT'S KIRIGIRI.
Plans: Well, between the influx of SDR2 kids and the fact that she's getting Dad in a Box for her item drop (MERRY CHRISTMAS, KIRIGIRI), she's going to be having an...interesting Christmas season keeping all that in line. It's my goal to make sure that she stays tagging out to cross-canon CR as well for the duration, but I anticipate a fair amount of insular Cast Shenanigans coming up, so she'll likely be pretty focused on that in the near future. On a lighter note, she and Naegi are going on a Christmas date. c:

Blurb: Faize is 18-year old an alien, but he's basically just a human with pointy ears. That's it. That's the difference. ~Space elves~. Anyway, he's a highly logical 18-year-old genius who kind of has some issues with social interaction because he never really learned how to properly do that while he was growing up. Despite the fact that he's very blunt, he's actually a really nice guy. He's not really very talkative, unless you happen to ping one of his interests; in which case: good luck getting him to shut up. He uh...likes magic and swords? And learning new things. He's like a little knowledge sponge.
Plans: For now, he's just working at the Celadon breeding center as a favor to Aradia and failing at Christmas. He's going to head over to the game corner at some point and make an absolute killing at Voltorb Flip because he wants a porygon thanks to Ash now. At some point though, I would like him to get back on the road and do trainer type things. He's unfortunately more the research-y type and kind of needs somebody to motivate him into doing other things and he doesn't really...have that. Yet. So he's just kind of studying his 'mons and doing breeding house stuff for now. I have no real plans other than a Christmas post for him sometime soon.

Yusuke's been spending most of his time around his castmates (and honorary castmate/guy-whose-series-was-penned-by-the-same-dude-who-did-YYH Killua) lately, so cross-canon CR in general would be fabulous, but rivalries and enemies in particular would be great! Yusuke is the sort of guy whose personality more or less invites conflict, so I'd love for him to have some new people to butt heads with.

Yusuke Urameshi is a classic Jerk with a Heart of Gold: while he can be - and genuinely is, in many respects - an enormous asshole, he's also a lot softer on the inside than he lets on, with a Good Guy streak that manifests itself most strongly in his devotion and loyalty to his friends - as well as in how many of your bones he'll splinter if he ever catches you messing with the people he cares about or preying on the weak and/or innocent. He is also inexplicably awesome with children, even though they occasionally do stupid shit like walk right into traffic. Sigh.
Plans: WELL, Yusuke here has been pretty out of it after everything that went down in October, thanks to all those horrifying nightmares he was having about EVERYTHING GOING HIDEOUSLY WRONG WHEN HE GOES HOME TO FIGHT THE BAD GUY AND ALL HIS FRIENDS DYING AND DEAR GOD, WHY, so like, if anyone wants their character to help a shounen protag relieve some of the burden of his shounen protag worries, I'd be down for that! He's not really big on talking about his feelings (though he'd probably be more likely to do so to a certain extent if he knew that the other person had some way to relate to him; being a castmate or someone who could understand having demon-fightin' and/or world-savin' duties, for example, would definitely work for this), but I reckon just hanging out with people and sparring and generally staying active would be good for him. His main issue here is that he's got both the world and his pride riding on winning this fight (because the bad guy here is, essentially, an asshole not that different from him, albeit older and nuttier), so, y'know. Yeah. Yeah! Kid's got a lot on his plate, basically. Send help. Or throw rocks and agitate him and make it worse, whatever works!
WHAT ELSE... uhhh. He's got a date on Christmas with Keiko! Aaaand there's a 99.5% chance that he'll punk out of kissing her if they encounter a mistletoe at some point because he's an ENORMOUS WEENIE, so there's that. I'm also going to look into having him pop up to Ecruteak for maybe a week or so after New Year's so he can get the next badge (and then pop right back down to Goldenrod afterwards because fuck staying in little hick towns), so if anyone wants to catch him while he's up there, feel free to give me a yell! Any members of his travel party that want to come along (and listen to him bitch at length on the way there about nature and how he seriously doesn't get why anyone likes it) are free to do so.
Also I might canon update him sometime within the next couple of months? WHO KNOWS. It is a great mystery.

Blurb: She's Hermione if Hermione was raised in a world where you kill on command of your school (though sometimes she disobeys orders based on her morals) and had a scythe. Maka's come a long way from the bookwarm tryhard she started off as, she's still a trusting and friendly person, she can be a little oblivious to certain matters but whatever her friends need she'll come through for them.
Plans: She was busy as heck monopolizing the kitchen of the hotel she's staying in to make Christmas treats for people and she's still working on her badge journey.

Plans: I would love for Keiko to take off on a poké-catching trip after the new year. She needs to complete her collection of Team Urameshi pokemon. She also has a date with Yusuke coming up, and if he wusses out she is going to be a little miffed at him. Also she’s sort of terrified for this date because of Kuwabara reminding her that it is just as likely that the date will end up at a gym. Other thoughts are to have her eventually back track to Violet City to challenge Faulkner for the heck of it, she’s curious about this magic thing called earning badges. And I think it is time that Keiko had her first batch of surprise eggs after the poké-catching trip.

In Johto, having emphatically flipped his own world the bird, he's trying to catch up to the modern world and win all the badges and make friends and have fun and generally just live a cool normal life in Pokemon land - he's got a weird knowledge base and talks funny, but Walter's generally just a boisterous guy who says what he thinks and likes easygoing people and sometimes causes trouble. On the flip side, he has very strong opinions about religion, politics, and education and can get very serious and even vehement about things along those lines.
Plans: Nothing at the moment, except some basics: he's not traveling until the weather stops being consistently COLD AS BALLS, and once he does leave Celadon, he is probably going to be traveling with Dante for some amount of time. Other than that, I don't have anything in mind beyond tagging out to anything that catches the eye and making a handful of posts about random shit during the winter.
