What you're looking for: More friendships, for sure! Katara is going to be undergoing a canon update soon, but in the meantime I'm looking for more interaction with PGC memebers, Rockets, trainers, breeders, etc.

Additionally I'm really looking for more volunteers for the Welcome Center (and if anyone has suggestions/preferences for how to get the word out about it, let me know)!

Blurb: Katara has been in and out of Route a few times now, and gone through a lot of growth since a lot of her time here has been spent without her canonmates. She's friendly towards about everyone she meets, but can still be thrown off and confused by certain behaviors or cultural differences. She's also generally a very expressive person with a mothering-complex and you don't want to get on her bad side because she can be EXTREMELY preachy and ranty.

She's the founder of the Welcome Center (which you can find information about here at welcometojohto.dreamwidth.org and also currently a member of Squad 1 of the PGC.

Plans: PGC things, Welcome Center things- I want to get that advertised more but right now the one resource we're lacking is volunteers! People to act as chaperones and what not. Katara will eventually make her way back to one of the houses to keep an eye on things herself once she finishes her badge tour (because proceeds/winnings are going into the WC funds ok).

Boop boop, I realized that the last time we've talked about the Welcome Center was over plurk like months ago, so here I am! Tenten'll be more active and involved now that Sasuke's gone -- she needs things to do, so when she's not doing stuff for the PGC, she'll want to help at the Welcome Center; she'd be most interested in training people and their Pokémon on how to survive on the routes as well as how to train.

She'll also be willing to donate eggs to the Welcome Center as well, if that's something Katara would be interested in. Otherwise they'll probably end up going to the Breeding Center.

Popping in on break for a quick reply, and I'll happily brainstorm with you tonight for possible WC and PGC things!

But this all sounds awesome. Katara could definitely relate if she knew, since Dick just went home around the same time as Sasuke and she's also throwing herself into work and badges and PGC stuff, looking for things to do.

Tenten can have that position! How would she feel about stopping by one of the boarding houses once a month (or two months- or we can work out some other timing) to teach/train? Or she could become one of the house chaperones, but that would entail staying for longer periods of time and I don't think that's what you're going for. Let me know!

Also I love the donation idea! Egg sale proceeds always go back into the WC itself (which helps pay for various things like bills, supplies for newbies, and wages where applicable, etc.).

Tenten could definitely stop by the WCs monthly, maybe rotate through them? Stop in, check on things, yell at people, do her thing. XD Maybe later on she'll stick around more, but for now, I'd prefer to keep her somewhat mobile. :|a

She will definitely be donating unsold eggs to the WC then!

What canon point were you thinking of updating her to? Whatever it is, we should do something with it. Maybe Envy will draw on her face or something while she's in her coma, because immaturity will be a distraction from the fact that she's in a coma.

Other than that, there's that maturity/immaturity bet we could do something with.

If Envy does not draw on her face now I will be extremely disappointed in both of you. Better still it needs to be captured on camera, or permanent ink that takes forever to come out so that she's forced to stick to texts and avoid people or wear make up to cover it up or something.














and then she'll get payback by dumping dye on Envy's head or something in his sleep.

I'm thinking of something from the comics! The last significant update she had was pretty much to the end of the television series and I think she's probably well overdue since she's also had the same canon point the last two times oops time she was brought back.

That would basically be the perfect setup for the bet, though. For real. He draws on her face, she freaks out, they argue, it leads to this bet scenario.
