Pokemon Team Headcanon Post!

Pokemon teams! All of our characters have them. Some have multiple teams! Here's your chance to tell us all about them!
Link your character's team(s) in the comments, if you have a post for them. If not, just list them. Then tell us about them! Do they get along? Do they listen to their trainer? Do they bother people on the network on their own?
What about eating habits? Do they get enough sleep or do they keep people awake? Are they the type to jump into battle, or do they need more prompting? Tell us all about them!
Then ask people about their teams! Do you travel with someone? What do their Pokemon think of your character? Is your character likely to point out weaknesses in their team? Or just ask questions about things that the original commenter didn't think to clarify!
Royce Bracket | Transistor
Ampere is always in his team. No exceptions. He knows that Falkner has Flying-types so he's trying to train his Magnemite up in order to take down those birds. Magnemite is pretty perfect for that battle so he's working hard. An ampere is a measure of the amount of electric charge passing a point in an electric circuit per unit time. So... nerd name.
Scout tends to run ahead and flush out wild Pokemon, somewhat like a hunting dog. ... He probably thinks of himself as more doglike, honestly. He also curls around Royce for body heat when they're somewhere like a cave, and his tail often ends up in Royce's mouth because he's a furry jerk. But he's also very eager to please in his quiet way, and loves hugs and pets.
Dynamica is kind of a weird one in Royce's team. She's very much a loner so she's a little weirded out by working together with the others. She doesn't play well with them, but when given her alone time she calms down a bit and allows herself to be directed. Royce is working on a whistle system with her - a high note means this, a low note means that, certain things mean yes or no, etc. It's partly for Red's benefit too, since Dynamica is Royce's scout which means she might end up having to warn Red of things.
Chain is a new one in Royce's team, but he's working on getting the Onix up to speed - partly for the gym battle and partly because he suspects that he could ride on him. He's very very quiet most of the time, partly out of concern that he'll startle the smaller or younger team members. But he also uses himself as a defensive wall if the team needs him - circling around them to shield them.
Zeta is also very new and very young, but already has a personality. It's got a habit of turning on Royce's Pokegear to channels he hates, of making horrible screeching dialup noises, of making a noise, disappearing, and showing up on the other side of Royce... it's a brat.
Marcus is Zeta's brother, and joins the Porygon in its antics. Marcus tends to swipe Royce's things and run off with them, hiding them in bushes, trees, holes... basically Marcus kind of lives to make Royce's life hell.

Ampere is probably second place. It just... gets really frustrated by Royce's... Royceness sometimes.
Tobias | Animorphs
Regal is kind of shy. He's not really the most eager to battle. He prefers perching on Tobias' shoulder and snuggling. Tobias is the only one he seems to get along with - he's wary of the others on the team, even if they haven't ever shown any inclination towards attacking him. He can... kind of fly but not really - he's more likely to hop around than to take any real, sustained flight yet. He's still learning.
Volts is a runner. He'll take off at any opportunity, and is fond of running ahead of the group, running back, and taking off again. He tries to race the others but they're not anywhere near his speed right now. He's also very stubborn and doesn't always listen to directions, but he does all right in battle.
Rachel is incredibly fierce for her size and 'age'. She's always willing to fight and always willing to jump in to keep the others protected. She's small, but she's also very clever - she's the sort of Pokemon to roll underneath another to attack its ankles from behind. She also keeps the others in line, including Tobias - she's the one who yelps at them if they're about to do something stupid. Really, she's the brains behind the team, even if she's also incredibly adorable.

Joker / Kuroshitsuji
Angel the Mime Jr. - The one Pokemon that's always out of her ball and always by his side. Didn't want to evolve because she wouldn't look as cute, also the team empath and "Circus Assistant".
Rogue the Furret - The speediest member of the team and the first Pokemon Joker legit caught. Has learned all the TMs he possibly can and is far too delighted to know Flamethrower. Speedy member.
Lightning the Luxray - Basically as much of a cat as a cat Pokemon can be, she worries excessively over Angel and can't help but lunge at bird Pokemon.
Ruby the Rapidash - One of the more quiet members of his team, she's his main go to steed and has gained a bit more confidence since she was first hatched.
Invidia the Zoroark - Hatched not too long after Ruby and has a bad case of stage fright... which is ironic for a Zoroark in the circus. Slowly learning computers from Chihiro to gain a skill all his own, learning shapeshifting from Envy, and tends to go around looking like Joker only without all the standout clothing and makeup.
Princess Guls the Goodra - Not so much caught as "made friends with the furry noodle to the cat's chagrin" and has stayed every since. She will hug you if you like it or not SHE SWEARS TO GOD
Please ask me about them all, even the ones I haven't listed, I think way too much about Joker's pokemon it is ridiculous

All of Joker's Pokemon with the exception of a few of the Unown have gotten slimed as well to their distress. Lightning, who almost hates Guls because WET UGH, tried to escape but failed miserably at some point.
Anyone in the Circus who isn't careful can probably count on being slimed as well.

Most of it tends to be small shrubbery around Goldenrod, in which case Joker makes him put it out with Ice Beam before walking away very quickly, but he's gone after circus equipment when he's been too bored before.
Fortunately Team Safety Net has learned that the easiest way to keep everything from going up in flames is to bodily lift the little shithead and toss him into Guls.

Garry / Ib
Izzy the Charizard - Garry's starter and the most protective of him because he realized very quickly that his trainer is a scaredy cat. Surprisingly calm for a Charizard, although of course has that competitive streak. This has earned two rivalries, the friendly one with Typhlosion Grady and the "I would kill you if you weren't already a ghost" one with Banette Red Eyes.
Red Eyes the Banette - She became obsessed with poor Garry at prom and proceeded to haunt his ass after kicking Izzy's. He has tried every conceivable way to get rid of her, and none of them have worked. She terrifies him but he's still trying to figure it out.
Rida the Gardevoir - Taken in by Garry after Kaede left Route, he's one of the more level headed of his Pokemon and tends to guide the rest of his team. He can communicate telepathically but doesn't bother starting conversations with other people much.
Ryner Lute :: The Legend of the Legendary Heroes
Rose the Clefairy
The first of the three who are always with him, Rose was Ryner's starter, and she refers to him as her Dear Partner. Rose absolutely adores Ryner, and her goal in life is for him to be happy... which often leads to her pounding him when he's not for no obvious reason, but they've sort of come to an agreement about that over the years. She has huge levels of motivation and energy, unlike her trainer, and she wants to make him proud, so she's the one who organizes daily sparring sessions and drags everybody into training and sometimes even drags her dear partner into training. She doesn't want to evolve because she thinks she's cuter small, and besides this way she can still climb up on Ryner's shoulder. She's also got a slight jealous streak and gets mad whenever she perceives another Pokemon trying to steal her dear partner from her (which is really why she gets along so poorly with Marian), but she's perfectly fine with his human friends. Her favorite food is, perhaps unsurprisingly, dango.
Jehra the Absol
The second of the three who are always with him, Jehra is very much a daddy's boy, and a worry wort, and he will always make his displeasure known (by growling from behind Ryner's legs) whenever he senses danger from someone. He tries to be stoic, but he has a silly side to him too, especially on the rare occasions when he's actually relaxed. His favorite food is sliced processed cheese.
Glen the Joltik
The last of the three who are always with him (ever since getting kidnapped in Nightmare Castle anyway), Glen can usually be found snuggling up on Ryner's neck. ...And also wearing a tiny top-hat, but. He's not much for fighting, unless he's partnered with Ryner, in which case he'll crawl down his sleeve and shoot attacks from in there while Ryner does the actual fighting. He wants to be friends with everybody (and Marian makes him sad).
Elfy the Ditto
Elfy loves to dance, to the point where he's always bopping to a tune only he can hear. He also loves Ryner's clothes - specifically the clothes - and relishes every opportunity he gets to transform into his trainer because of it. (Even when Ryner doesn't like it.) It's really difficult to upset him or anger him, because he's pretty chill with just about everything.
Marian the Yamask
Marian Lied was a college student from Azalea Town who went to cooking school in Striation City. She died when she was chased by a swarm of Beedrill on her way home for vacation and tripped and fell down Slowpoke Well, breaking her neck in the fall. Since then, and after a certain incident that Ryner won't talk about, she's been trying to come to terms with her undeath, and is pretty much team cook for Ryner's menagerie, even though Rose still distrusts her despite various talks Ryner has tried to have with her. She does occasionally borrow Ryner's 'gear for text conversations, but not often. She wants to find love someday, but she has yet to find someone who fits her standards the same way Sion does. She's also terrified of bugs, though, which kind of strains her relationship with several of the others...
Aran the Paras
Despite his Dry Skin ability, Aran hates the rain because it reminds him of the day his best friend in the wild evolved into a Parasect and lost himself completely. He's terrified of evolving, which is why he clings to the Everstone Ryner got him, but he's been kind of having sessions with Sion where he's trying to dominate the mushrooms instead of the other way around. Whether that ever amounts to anything remains to be seen, but.
Rey the Yanma
Rey was one of the Yanma from the swarm Tarantulas bred, tormented, and set upon Johto a few years back, and the only Pokemon that Ryner has ever thrown a Pokeball at. Her recovery has been slow, but at this point she does come out from under the bed for short intervals, and she's slowly but surely beginning to realize that the world is a good place and it's okay to make friends. She still doesn't train with the others though, hence why she still hasn't even gained one level since she joined. Her favorite food is apple slices.
(Feel free to ask about any of the others too if you want.)

Magikarp and Gyarados actually make a rather nice metaphor for Alpha Stigma bearers like Ryner, honestly. You've got a fish that everybody looks down on, which transforms into a terrifying beast with anger problems. (Espurr is just as good a metaphor, but as it's not available yet...) And Ryner has a soft spot for Magikarps partially because of it - he just sees peaceful fish that don't fight, not useless wastes of space or investments in ticking time bombs.
gamzee makara | homestuck
miracle the mime jr: basically gamzee's ( and the team's ) caretaker! he looks after a lot of responsibilities gamzee kind of just skims over, like his chesto berry intake, and is always trying to stay on top of things to look after gamzee more than gamzee looks after himself. he actually thinks of his trainer more like an adventure than a problem, and both share a tight, friendly connection for one who's only recently started their journey, with gamzee adoring the little dude for being a clown by appearance, and miracle adoring gamzee like a little brother ( while it should be the other way around haha ). miracle is simple, charismatic, very expressive, lighthearted with just about everything, and an optimistic one with a thing for making people smile. they also have matching face paint, miracle's being a bit more mime-based to match his mimicking. lastly, he is also an amazing beatboxer.
faygoo the goomy: a pug in goo form. faygoo's a pretty quiet little blob right now, but one thing's for certain-- she's always happy! she likes to slug around and just enjoy the air around her, though she's fairly slow and a bit detached. but! she adores making friends and will go curiously for anything that moves so she can say hello friend. gamzee's also tried to eat her slime various times, miracle being the one to distract him until he forgets . . .
jokette the zorua: team prankster number one and true to her name. jokette is a somewhat selfish zorua that adores a good laugh. alas, that good laugh has to be from causing trouble and she treats it like an art form. she's pretty fond of gamzee, but moreso because he can fall for things very easily, and oh does it amuse her! she can be a tad awkward and lost when being faced with a more emotionally intimate situation, where she prefers to flee and act all cold and meh to mask her inability to connect as easily as miracle does ( in actuality, she'd like to, but she doesn't know how and looks to pranking as a defense / escape mechanism ).
harshwhimsy the venipede: the angriest thing gamzee's ever seen-- and unfortunately that doesn't stop him from trying to get him to chill out and hang with the crew. he's aggressive, unpredictable, and prefers tucking himself away into a quiet corner instead of interacting. he's bitten gamzee various times while the clown's tried to bond with him, albeit in a way he doesn't like which includes sessions of face painting and quote "really annoying" bicycle horns. it's the only member of team gamzee to really get close to disliking where it is and the irritating trainer it had to get stuck with-- but battling helps him let off some steam, and it's probably the only time it listens to gamzee. other than that, it hisses a lot at him and doesn't get near him with a ten foot pole ( he doesn't want to get painted again with gamzee's weird horrorcore face patterns . . . )
wicked g and 2shade the gastlies: brother and sister, 2shade was actually caught first, with wicked g immediately wanting to join gamzee so they wouldn't get separated and thus-- team pranksters two and three. legit thing one and thing two, this pair is a team on it's own that enjoys a bit of mischief in the air. it's a good thing that the majority of the team likes a good laugh; wicked g is more "brains" of the pair, cunning and tricky, he could get a few nasty ideas that can turn a trick more malicious and horror movie-esque-- while 2shade acts as an opposite balance, being carefree and silly, acting more on a funny bone impulse than with thought, and looking for tricks and laughs on a more lighthearted note.
bellbro the bronzong: caretaker number two! bellbro is very quiet, very observant, and a rather pure pokemon by personality and nature. it mostly keeps watch and observes gamzee's odd behavior with high curiosity. it doesn't mind him at all, and is in fact fond of him and his antics, like his thing with face paint, rapping, and other clown related things-- it just worries about gamzee quite a bit, and helps miracle when it's able and where it's needed ( like levitating him to a pokemon center if harshwhimsy bites him again . . . )

aster the bulbasaur: a really sweet thing, and also a mother hen. she adores caring for eggs and BABIES and could look after BABIES forever. you can never have too many babies, never. at least, that's in aster's eyes. she's loyal, calm, patient, and share's nagi's fondness for all kinds of weather, thus she's been staying out of her pokeball most of the time! plus, she really likes basking in the sun and taking small sun naps when she could!
arashi the pichu: hatched not too long ago, but she's already a strong one! loves crawling on top of aster and getting lulled with her vines, and jumping all over nagi and— unfortunately, other people, even strangers. she doesn't have much of a personal limit! she likes to stick her nose in all the places thanks to her blossoming curiosity, keeping both nagi and aster busy. doesn't show signs of electricity use, which has nagi a bit curious ( since they say pichus just can't control their thunder and end up zapping people ), but he has yet to see any kind of electricity from her!
zephyr the hoothoot: also a newly hatched. he's a bit stubborn and picky, preferring to roost on nagi's shoulder and quiet, calming places with little noise. he enjoys the sound of rivers and bodies of running water though, which seem very soothing for him, even falling asleep near the sounds. it's more reserved and cautious compared to arashi's playfulness, in which he almost tends to flee from ( no thanks he prefers . . . being quiet . .. )

but seriously, if someone suspicious started acting weird around him she'd probably stink eye at them and try to stand between them so she'd have a good chance to defend. also very very protective of eggs.
Major Raikov || Metal Gear Solid
Katya the Joltik:
Raikov's starter and precious baby. Almost always out of her pokeball since she's tiny enough to perch on Raikov's head or shoulder. While the rest of the team calls Raikov "Master," she refers to him as "papa." Katya's spoiled, a ham, and easily made jealous just like her trainer. And while she doesn't approve of his constant flirting (always making sure Raikov can see her disgust with the situation), she doesn't interrupt him unless she feels it's absolutely necessary. Then he gets a faceful of spider belly.
After checking the pokedex to see what Joltiks evolved into, Raikov decided to keep her as is and Katya's quite content with the decision. She wouldn't be able to huddle up close to him anymore if she did! She gets along with the rest of the team rather well, even though she hated sharing Raikov's attention when he first started catching more pokemon. What a brat.
Pasha the Butterfree:
The "baby brother" of the team. He's very innocent and a bit clumsy but always tries his hardest to make his trainer proud.
Veronika the Spinarak:
Pretty much Charlotte from Charlotte's Web but without the web writing.
Alexei the Growlithe:
Raikov's first egg! Bought from Riku. He's everything you'd expect the perfect guard dog to be: Intimidating, majestic, calm, and fearless. Raikov keeps him out of his pokeball while he's traveling outside of town for protection.
Yevgeny the Sharpedo:
Raikov's newest Pokemon, met that fateful day during the hurricane where he practically crushed the poor guy. Yevgeny is almost exactly like his namesake in personality, mannerisms, and appearance - so much that Raikov sometimes wonders if his Colonel somehow got reincarnated. He's prideful, stubborn, serious, and vicious. For Raikov though, he's
tsundere, gentle and ridiculously protective over him. The two share a strong bond and absolutely adore each other. I guess sharing a moment where your life flashes before your eyes can do that.Yevgeny doesn't particularly care for the rest of the team although he's starting to warm up to Katya since... you know, Raikov's bb.

chinatsu the typhlosion: sasuke's starter and second older sibling. she's pretty big for a female typhlosion ( and she kind of adores it considering she was a really small cyndaquil ). she's a spunky, spicy girl, a bit brash and acts on impulse, though always eager to battle above her limit, to exceed expectations and to work very, very hard. she's a challenger, though when she's not riled and fired up, she's pretty reserved and keeps to herself and sasuke.
hot fudge sundae the growlithe: good dog. best friend. named after joker's favorite food because he was the one that gave fudge to sasuke! extremely loyal, very calm. curious and purposeful. battling is like breathing for him, so much so that's it's pretty to see him fight.
senkou the luxray: huge flirt, but mostly does it to get the other guys jealous of his GREAT LOOKS and GLISTENING FUR. his bravery is pretty characteristic, and he's also one that likes a good challenge. in fact, he'll challenge anything that moves to a friendly ( or not ) competition, as long as it's . . . not a girl . . . if it's a girl well
sexi can i
shinya the torchic: young, but he's got spark. he's like that little dude that wants to fight everyone just so he could prove his worth. extremely energetic and has a problem with standing still, not to mention a very odd phobia of mouse-like animals. despite that, he's very headstrong and determined, yet falls easily for provocations thanks to a terribly short fuse and is seemingly more bark than bite. he's trying to strengthen his bite, though!
yukanna the rufflet: new to the team, so he's a bit shut out right now. most noticeable characteristics are being really careful, a bit aggressive, and mostly chooses fleeing and keeping to himself instead of fighting. ( though he will if something doesn't sit right with him! )

Riku's team is... really big, so I'll focus on the main members for now and detail the others when I'm not so tired.
Flare may not be Riku's starter, but he's easily Riku's favorite Pokémon on his roster. Back when Riku was still reluctant to view Pokémon as friends, Flare was one of the few he had somewhat of a connection with, partly because the idea of training a fire breathing dragon was so cool. With his generally laid back attitude, Flare was able to tolerate most of Riku's flaws, though he constantly worried that he was going over the deep end. Even now, Flare keeps close to Riku to ensure that he stays out of trouble. He acts like a surrogate big bro and is the defacto leader of the team, often stepping in when the other Pokémon get into spats.
He's best friends with Ace the Lucario and Blade the Scizor. Rivals with Draco the Dragonite and Quake the Garchomp and... well, he and Sora's Charizard, Spitfire, have a strange mix of courtship and rivalry.
Slacker is Riku's starter, who started off as very timid and eager to please his trainer. He earned his nickname due to his fear of battles, and from the very beginning, Riku treated him as second fiddle to other Pokémon, such as Highwind the Pidgeot and Flare. Riku pushed him incredibly hard, which caused him to go berserk upon his initial evolution. He eventually calmed down, but ever since then, he's had a significant inferiority complex.
Riku has tried to patch things up and does still spend time with Slacker, but ultimately, they lack the same connection that Riku shares with Flare, and Slacker is content to stay at the Training Center where it's safe. He will fight when the situation calls for it and does still want to please Riku, but he also doesn't want to get in the way of Riku and Flare. Thankfully, he's made a number of friends, including Jaws, Gear, Burst, and Surge. He also may have a bit of a crush on Venus the Serperior.
Ace was another one of the Pokémon Riku actually bonded with early on, partly because she reminded him of Kairi. Sassy, headstrong, but sweet at the core. She and Flare grew close in part because they both were some of the only level-headed members on the team. Ace has a number of friends outside of Flare, including Zen the Blastoise, Mirage the Zoroark, Slash the Weavile, and Knight the Gardevoir. She refuses to go anywhere near Psych, though, due him becoming... clingy after a short breeding stint.
She and Slash had a bet to see who could learn to talk first. Ace won, and ever since, Slash has been forced to bring her fruit smoothies in the mornings.
Phantom was one of Riku's earliest catches and a prankster from the very beginning. He's very self absorbed, loving nothing more than to watch people squirm after a good prank. Has a tendency to lick people, especially if they're Sora-shaped, carry odd objects in his mouth, including a vuvuzela and silly string, and once vandalized the Burned Tower. He takes advantage of the dumber members on the team and once invited a group of "Bloobers" into the TC while Riku was showering. He was bored, and the swarm fascinated him.
He's formed a little pranking squad with Mirage, Zen, Pulse, Ouja, Surge, and Glow, much to the others' chagrin. When nobody else is around, they throw ridiculous parties in the basement.
Highwind is the stuffiest Pidgeot you will ever meet. Extremely proud, he possesses a strong prejudice against Pokémon that refuse to evolve, seeing them as foolish, weak, and incredibly stupid. He longs to be the center of attention, and at one point, he was Riku's shining star. Ever since Flare entered the picture, he's become bitter. He even faced Terror once to try and prove his worth. Riku is currently unsure what to do about Highwind's temper, as his narcissism dictates that he replace Flare altogether.
Oddly, he is one of the few 'mons who can enter Terror's chamber unscathed. He also is on relatively friendly terms with Psych and Jo, but finds Gear rather irritating.
Blade started off as a very energetic Scyther with a tendency to cling to Riku. She was his number one fangirl, blindly defending him even when he treated the rest of the team like weapons. Even after evolving, she's maintained her enthusiasm and is extremely protective of her trainer. She's close friends with Flare and Ace but is generally very sociable. She enjoys hanging with Mirage and Zen and has tried very hard to bond with Toxin and Solar. Deathclaw creeps her out, though.
Jaws is... slow, to put it bluntly. Despite looking like a miniature Godzilla, he's incredibly friendly, but completely unaware of his size and strength. He obeys Riku blindly, like a well-trained dog. But really, he'll listen to just about anyone. Case in point? Phantom once convinced him to carry a bucket full of water into Riku's bedroom and pour it over him while he slept. He's easily influenced, ridiculously naive, and only fights because "Master" tells him to. He sometimes scribbles weird pictures and tends to get along best with Slacker, Surge, Burst, and Gear. Also has a crush on Zen and Gaia but doesn't really... realize it.
Terror is as her name states. Vicious, feral, and extremely unpredictable, Riku's kept her confined to the PC and her own secluded chamber for the past few years, only taking her out for occasional flights and hunting when she actually behaves herself. It might sound cruel, but deep down, he's just not sure what to do with her. When he first hatched her, her violent tendencies made for a competent team member... but then she grew larger and started seeing humans as weak. She doesn't understand human speech and "speaks" in a very broken Pokélanguage due to poor socialization coupled with being a more ancient species.
Draco and Quake are Riku's duo of dragon bullies. Part time friends, part time rivals, occasionally enemies, the two are always trying to strut their stuff. Both fight brutally. Both have egos the size of Mt. Moon. The thing that sets them apart is their tempers. When Quake gets mad, he explodes, mauling anyone in his path. Draco shows a bit more restraint and actually has some degree of respect for Riku. However, both are extremely ruthless and battles, hate Flare, and long to overpower him.
Slash prides himself in being a gentleman. He's generally very calm, refined, and introspective, with a love of reading morbid stories such as "The Honchkrow" and the "Tell-Tale Heart Scale". He and Quake have a history due to hatching at roughly the same time, and Slash is often the first to keep the Garchomp in line. However, he has greater aspirations beyond his role as a Pokémon, longing to be seen as an equal to mankind. This is why he pushed himself to speak, and nowadays he yearns for new pursuits, which landed him a spot at Joker's circus. In his mind, every Pokémon has the potential to break beyond their species' natural limits... which apparently means speaking with an incredibly fake British accent.
Zen is basically your totally radical 90's mascots all bundled up into one. She wears shades. She's always trying to look awesome. She's loud, brash, and always pining for attention. When she battles, she does it with style. Or so she thinks. Half the team doesn't take her seriously, and she's often trying to push Flare's buttons just for kicks. She's closest to Blade, Ace, and Phantom's gang. Because hey, pranks are awesome, okay? She's also tried to up Jaws' coolness factor, but he remains oblivious to her intentions.
Also, she named herself.
Gear is what you get when you force feed a Skarmory ten bags of sugar, a gallon of coffee, and an entire bake sale. He's hyperactive, loud, and way too nosy for his own good. In his mind, everyone is his best friend, and he makes it known by running in circles, squawking, and generally being a nuisance. He gets along best with Jaws, Surge, Slacker, and Burst, but often ends up being duped by Phantom due to his lack of wits. One time Phantom convinced him that wearing a bucket on his head would let him walk through walls. Shenanigans ensued.
Surge almost always hangs out with Phantom. Otherwise, he tends to hover around. Most of the Pokémon know him on some level and, unlike Phantom, most generally tolerate him. Probably because he's not quite as involved in trickery as his fellow ghost. Aside from Phantom, he's closest to the derp brigade, Gigabyte, and Glow. Gig in particular fascinates him, as he's capable of going into machines, just like Surge!
I'm a bit tired, so I'll stop here for now, but I can totally go over the others if asked. Riku's post is really outdated, and I still need to fill out info on his Archeops, Goodra, and Kabutops. Whoops.

Zen is prone to Rule of Cool. She prefers to use big, powerful, and flashy attacks. She's not particularly fond of stall tactics, opting for a head-on approach. This can lead to some friction with Riku, who is a very tactical battler.
Phantom, on the other hand, loves a slow, grueling fight. His favorite combo is Hypnosis + Mean Look + Curse + Dream Eater, but he's also fond of Toxic and Will-o-Wisp abuse.
Quake is a lot like Zen in that he tends to prefer a direct approach, but more than anything, he likes causing pain. He's incredibly vicious in a fight and loves to hear the sounds of screams from his enemies, which may lead to him taking things too far in a fight. Crunching to fracture bones. Toxic to weaken his foes. Riku used to love his brutality, but now it unnerves him.
Flare is similar to Riku in that he likes to fight tactically. He's the sort of Pokémon that prefers to wait and see how his opponent fights, scouting with Protect and Double Teams. He will use powerful moves if the situation calls for it, but prefers to save his strength for when he really needs it.
Ace knows she's a glass cannon, so she prefers to finish fights as quickly as possible. She tries to land heavy hits and evade where possible. Very much a hit and run battler.
Riku's psychics are generally pretty analytical in fights. Knight tries to make battles fun through use of status moves and misdirection. Psych tends to wait and observe, similar to Flare. Axis has the benefit of his bulk and strength, but often enjoys wearing his opponents down before landing the finishing blow.
Drench... just wants to be a kung-fu fighting juggler. He tries to look cool by incorporating martial arts. He is convinced that he was meant to be a fighting type. Nobody has managed to convince him otherwise.
Prince enjoys frustrating his opponents. Toxic stall is the name of the game. He will poison and then hide behind Protect, healing with Wish where necessary and occasionally laying the smack down with Surf.
Mirage enjoys confusing people with her Illusion ability and usually starts by mimicking other Pokémon to throw off her opponents. Her goal? Trick them into using the wrong attacks so she can blindside them with a well-aimed attack.
There are so many other 'mons that I'm gonna have to sit down and think of more strats. But these are the first ones that come to mind.
