Pokemon Team Headcanon Post!

Pokemon teams! All of our characters have them. Some have multiple teams! Here's your chance to tell us all about them!

Link your character's team(s) in the comments, if you have a post for them. If not, just list them. Then tell us about them! Do they get along? Do they listen to their trainer? Do they bother people on the network on their own?

What about eating habits? Do they get enough sleep or do they keep people awake? Are they the type to jump into battle, or do they need more prompting? Tell us all about them!

Then ask people about their teams! Do you travel with someone? What do their Pokemon think of your character? Is your character likely to point out weaknesses in their team? Or just ask questions about things that the original commenter didn't think to clarify!

...You know, this is probably cheating slightly, but I'm going to have to answer Ry, the Gyarados he inherited from Ferris (who actually named the poor thing after him because she is herself). I mean, it's more of a "which of his mons is most like him" type thing, but. Ry is super lazy and just wants to flop all the time, despite his intimidating appearance and the general attitude that's typical of the species - he has a lot of power but hates using it. Which, of course, is kind of a reflection of Ryner's own attitude as the King of Afternoon Naps.

Magikarp and Gyarados actually make a rather nice metaphor for Alpha Stigma bearers like Ryner, honestly. You've got a fish that everybody looks down on, which transforms into a terrifying beast with anger problems. (Espurr is just as good a metaphor, but as it's not available yet...) And Ryner has a soft spot for Magikarps partially because of it - he just sees peaceful fish that don't fight, not useless wastes of space or investments in ticking time bombs.
