ANYWAY Oh man I could probably go on for a while about Jimmy's feelings on Joker. I've sortof lost track of exactly where and when he ended up getting so very attached to this guy, but honestly Joker is probably the closest he is to anyone in Johto right now at the risk of sounding like I'm exaggerating. He really just has found himself in a sort of place where Joker's walking the line of being both like a best friend and someone like a parent that he can look up to, if that makes sense. He's never really had the latter in a way he can understand, so that's something he's really experiencing for the first time. ...so um to make a long story short, Joker is Very Important to Jimmy now and he's probably going to be stuck with this boy indefinitely.

Chihiro really likes Joker too! Joker's actually one of the handful of people here so far that's made him cry, but he's also the only person to make him cry in a way that...wasn't necessarily bad I guess? It's weird because Chihiro is still not sure about what he should do in regards to letting people here know his secret, but having Joker be so receptive to him and willing to talk if he needs it is a pretty important thing. That, and he loves Invidia to death and visits his student regularly for lessons and just generally enjoys his company as much as he would a person's, really.

Garry is in a similar boat with Chihiro though arguably it's a bit...more, kinda. Chihiro really likes Garry and feels like he can come to him and talk to him without worrying too much about how it will be taken. He's also always been very kind to him in offers to do things with him and travel places with him, so that is a very good thing that Chihiro really appreciates!

...Kirikou....is certainly something and Chihiro didn't know how to take him at first. He was definitely rather blunt and that threw him offguard, but now he likes him okay, so far! He finds him rather funny actually, if nothing else.

Maka reminds Joker a fair bit of someone like Beast, very much on the "I like you but I damn well refuse to show it" spectrum and so of course he's drawn to that because what are boundaries. Although really, that kind of attitude is also probably what drew him to her in the first place because for the longest while now he hasn't really had any of his family around. So because of that, he's definitely been drawn to people who remind him of them- Jimmy and Maka being the most blatant examples.

However, he's come to like her just for who she is and she strikes him as the clever kind of girl who could definitely go places. However, the more he talks to her, the more he's slowly becoming worried. The fact that she's been here for so long on her own is something he can sympathize just slightly with, especially with a father she seems to miss on at least some level. Then there's the thing she let slip in the circus thread and ahahaha oh boy hi big brother concern levels are just rising.

Because a girl shouldn't refer to herself as a bad taste, what the right bloody hell. Still, he knows that if he tries to press on her that she'll just get annoyed especially since it's him and he knows it's not quite his place just yet with how their relationship typically is. (Which involves a lot of teasing and genuine affection on his end and a lot of scoffing on hers) It's something he's not going to readily forget, it's just a matter of figuring out the right way to go about it.

Also, while it hasn't immediately occurred to him, he will feel a bit touched that she showed genuine worry about him getting hurt with Sekmet.

UNLIKE JOKER, Kirikou is in a slightly better position to address Maka's issues because 1. he's her housemate, 2. he's a friend, and 3. he's from her world so he has some vague idea of things.

Before Route, he probably liked her and thought she was pretty cool if a huge fucking nerd. Like, by the end of things although not necessarily the beginning. Despite that, she's obviously not one of his closest friends.

THANKS FOR CHANGING THAT, ROUTE, because now he's starting to realize... Well, she's still a huge nerd first of all, but she has a lot of issues that he never realized since he wasn't quite close before. Now that he knows them and that they're there and what they kind of are, he's definitely determined to get closer to her and let her be a shoulder to lean on.

Okhubo never exactly comes out and says it because... of course he wouldn't, sigh, but Kirikou obviously has some sort of flexible soul much like Stein. Like, he HAS to for him to be able to resonate with Fire, Thunder, Liz, Patti, Kim, and Jackie. I think part of that reason is that he has a very empathetic soul. Like, he'll still be a bit of a jackass (hi scar) but only to people who he think can handle it and won't be bothered. He tends to know when there's a time and place most of the time. Most of the time with Maka, he knows he won't be judged- well, too hard and obviously not enough to warrant a kicking out, but now that he knows she's been having trouble with people staying and friendships, he's definitely going to cool his jets on being a jackass teenage boy a bit so that he can focus a bit more on her.

Because she obviously needs it!! Very much!! And Kirikou won't ignore a friend in need because he is 100% Shonen. The way he figures it is that she needs more friends because you always need more friends, at least to give her SOME sort of support network, which is partially why he's so eager for her to meet Lust. Also they are both cool ladies and clearly need to meet each other.

Also he is still determined to get her to do capoieira with him.

Fuck like, Botan values Yusuke SO MUCH, coming to the realization that she seems him as a brother was both liberating and kind of scary because--well--she knows that he thinks she's weird and if she brought up that idea and got rejected she wouldn't be able to handle it. But then there was that blunt "we're all weird dumbass" conversation and she just crumbled. He'll probably never be aware of how much of an impact he actually has on her, for all that she gives him shit about being a foul-mouthed slacker, he's actually the most important person in her life--yes even after Koenma--and she'd give up everything if it was for him. She's worried about the effect the encounter with Raizen has had on his life, even though she knows how it ends he's STUCK right now and the effect is like that of a caged lion, when it comes to the surface it's not going to be pretty and she's so worried about him.

As for Maka, Yusuke reminds her of the idiots back at home and that's all right with her. He might make casual threats or shitty comments but it's nothing she's ever heard before and she can deal it back just fine, that he has no problem responding to violence is a bonus. Also he's entertaining as fuck to watch with his flailing.

I'm pretty sure in a plurk meme I stated first that "I accidentally adopted a small child" summed up the Joker-Jimmy relationship pretty well and I STICK BY THIS STATEMENT. I also stick by the statement that Joker would also shank someone for Jimmy if it came down to it.

A fair bit of this is probably because Jimmy to some degree reminds Joker of Doll, and I always figured that Doll and Joker got along the best in the family because they're very like minded people. So there's maaaybe a bit of favoritism there too and it's just rubbing off on Jimmy. Since Doll came and left so quickly, well, Joker's probably only become more attached to Jimmy because by god does this man not deal well with his family being taken away from him.

It probably doesn't help that Joker died with the knowledge that he'd likely just sent his family to their deaths before waking up in Johto and he still has a lot of issues with that he hasn't resolved. Will he ever? WHO KNOWS.

But either way, Jimmy and maybe more importantly Jimmy's happiness are super important to Joker. Joker is well aware, even if he hasn't exactly told a lot of people, that he's done a lot of fuck ups in his life. Nothing that could be avoided, but things that were ultimately necessary if he and his family and all those kids in the orphanage wanted to have a decent shot at living. It's still something that grinds on him, however, because he would have gave his OTHER arm for just about any other way. But now he's dead, England is likely something he'll never get to see again, and he knows he can't fix a single thing back home.

So on some level, maybe more than a little subconscious, Joker wants to make Jimmy happy as some sort of penance. Almost every kid he's come into contact with for some time has been a kid he's been automatically predisposed to because Joker is that kind of person... but they're also kids he's had to kidnap and ultimately lead to their deaths and worse. And enter Jimmy, another kid he really likes but one who doesn't have to be sacrificed for anything. A kid he can smile to and show tricks to and all that, and it can on some level be genuine and maybe he can actually make a kid happy instead of being a huge massive fuck up.

Basically what I'm saying here is that Joker has issues.

Chihiro also reminds Joker of Doll! For obvious reasons that have to do with genderfuckery more than any personality similarities. Joker's always liked Chihiro just because... Okay most of the time Joker's reactions to most people are that he likes them one way or another, just to differing severities from "I wouldn't mind being in an elevator with them" to "I will murder small children for you". SO YEAH.

But Chihiro seems like one of those quiet nice people who really doesn't deserve shitty/horrible things happening to them, and despite basically his whole life being what it is Joker likes to believe for the better sometimes. So he's definitely predisposed to being kind to Chihiro ESPECIALLY since one of his own (Invidia) is so fond of him. With the vague recent revelation that Chihiro is basically pulling a Doll (as much as Joker can figure it out), he's definitely going to be a lot kinder and more encouraging for him to come to him if that's what he wants. Joker doesn't... really get the gender fuckery thing?? He's from Victorian England, okay, his grasp on this is loose. But he does understand that it made Doll more comfortable to play at being Freckle and such, and so he's willing to be relaxed like that for Chihiro.

Kirikou has a marginally better understanding of gender fuckery than Joker does being that he's from somewhat modern times, and as far as he's concerned Chihiro is Crona #2 because that's literally what he knows of nonbinary genders. And that's what Chihiro said he was so??? Success??? This boy has basically no idea what he's doing, but he really wants to do his best to be friends with him because 1. IMPORTANT TO MAKA THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER and 2. he seems pretty cool and Kirikou really is up to making more friends.

Garry has a lot of fun talking with Chihiro! It's very comfortable to speak with him, and he's glad to have another Breeder to figure things out with. Giving him a Gible was something that Garry was really worried about, especially with how big it would get when evolving, so he's super relieved that Chihiro is handling it so well.

If/when Chihiro ever tells him his gender, Garry is going to be 1. super apologetic and 2. super embarrassed because he of all people should know this fuck his hot life whyyyy

Nonon → Isaac
Nonon is actually not entirely sure what to do with Isaac half the time, though it's a different sort of "I don't know what to do with Isaac" than most of my dudes experience. She doesn't exactly trust him because she came from somewhere that you literally can't trust adults - she grew up around Satsuki and as such she grew up around Ragyou, so she's really, really gun-shy about getting into actual discussions with adults about anything; her father also works for Revocs, so she can't talk to him either. As such, she's not willing to tell Isaac about her situation back home (and keeps falling back on the "bored kid on the internet" thing), but at the same time, she likes listening to what he has to say because he actually has a surprising amount to say, and a lot of it is more insightful than she'd thought it would be.

He also doesn't give her shit or try to press her about anything, which she definitely appreciates; they talk about a lot of difficult stuff but at the same time he doesn't try to discredit anything she says, he just asks her why she thinks that way, and that's...not something she's really used to. She's kind of aware that he's probably just humoring her, but at the same time he's so damn decent about it that she doesn't mind so much. He's actually managed to make her think about things from time to time, and while it's not exactly to the point of making her a better person just yet, it's given her cause to think about it, which is a lot more than most people have managed.

...She also doesn't find him nearly as hard to talk to as he seems to think he is, and admittedly she finds that kind of cute. (She's also expecting someone Irish as fuck and closer to her age; she is not going to know what to do with...uh, Isaac over there.)

He's the closest she's actually come to telling anyone about the situation back home, btw. She still sort of wants to, but yeah...

Tsukiyama → Naki
In all honesty, Tsukiyama legitimately can't work out what the hell Naki's game is. He doesn't necessarily believe the "friendship" thing is genuine because that is stupid as hell, so the next logical assumption is that he's trying to run some sort of play by himself, but because this is Naki we're dealing with it's probably a stupid play and not very thoroughly thought-out; the only other option is that it's not some sort of long game and he actually believes that whatever bond of friendship happened in the Nakiverse is actually genuine and based on...god only knows what, and that's not an idea he's very comfortable with entertaining. Tsukiyama is used to observing other people's friendships, rather than having any of his own; he claims to be friends with Kaneki but he knows it's entirely shallow and one-sided, something he's playing at rather than actually doing. So he's not too sure what to...do with the notion that someone just kind of looked at him and decided that they were friends now when he wasn't doing anything to try to provoke a favorable reaction. Tsukiyama is used to manipulating people into liking him, usually for the purposes of preying on them later; he doesn't know what to do now that someone is doing it on their own, completely unprompted.

There's a feeling of a loss of control over the situation that he definitely doesn't like, but at the same time can't do anything about; his current canon point is leaving him a little twitchy about overemotional things, and this entire situation is one that he considers to be such, so...

TL;DR - THIS IS REALLY AWKWARD, NAKI.

At the same time, he will acknowledge that there are certain things about Naki that he does respect - the...whatever the fuck he did for his bodyguards back in Tokyo was admirable, even if it was completely balls-to-the-wall idiotic; he also seems to operate in a way that's similar to how Tsukiyama operates in terms of dealing with overwhelming things (that is to say that he doesn't, he just goes off and cranks up his reaction of choice - with Naki it's either crying or getting angry, with Tsukiyama it's turning up the flamboyant tendencies) so he kind of understands and is perfectly fine with that much, at least.

...Also this guy is surprisingly fun to talk shit with, when he's got nothing else to do. He may actually be disappointed when the day eventually comes that someone from home shows up and he's going to have to go back to beating his ass.

I have no idea what happened with this CR but I really like it?

Greed didn't really have an expectation for what was going to happen when he decided to poke at Jimmy's freakout about living in hell but he certainly didn't expect to instantly bond with Jimmy over remarkably similar issues. He sort of poured his hear out to a strange which is something he doesn't normally do so ???? what does he do about this!

Kirigiri on Ishimaru

You know, what's kind of interesting in terms of the whole "we're never going to be friends but that's probably okay" concept is the fact that Kirigiri actually just said that to Celes recently, and it occurred to me as she was gearing up to say it that she probably never would have gotten to the point of being capable of articulating that to someone like Celes at the moment she was, had it not been for her CR with Ishimaru paving the way for it. It was more something along the lines of a larger group-level "we don't have to be friends or even like each other but regardless we're all interconnected in a given way that holds us together as a group, despite the character and transgressions of some of the people in that group", but still, it was a kind of really odd moment of understanding and clarity that she wouldn't have had without Ishimaru.

I think the thing that tends to trip Kirigiri up the most about Ishimaru is the fact that she forgets he doesn't tend to follow her cryptic way of speaking very well; with Naegi she's kind of used to the conversational model of referencing something and he'll just sort of fill in the end of the thought for her (thanks, game mechanics), but with Ishimaru you can't really...do implications, so as we have seen time and again a lot of their difficulties come from the fact that Kirigiri doesn't always know how to talk to Ishimaru (which is...not surprising considering I don't think she really knows how to talk to a lot of people period), and then Ishimaru in return has a tendency to hit some of the points and mannerisms that make Kirigiri get bristly.

That said, it's really fun to watch them in those rare times when they manage to both be on the same wavelength, which is usually the same point in which there is Shit That Needs Be Done; I've noticed that those tend to be the times when cooperating tends to reap Kirigiri the most appreciable benefits. I believe the alignment that I ultimately came to for her is Neutral Good as opposed to Ishimaru's Lawful Good; she's more focused on the thing needing to get done and less on how it gets done, which is where her occasional "the rules apply to everyone but me" perspective stems from. But when it becomes obvious that it's more productive to cooperate as opposed to going off on her own, then the two of them manage to work beneficially and actually Get Shit Done.

I also say, every time this meme comes up, that Kirigiri honestly does appreciate the role that Ishimaru fills in their class dynamic, even if she doesn't always appreciate him applying it to her specifically. It's very likely that the order he instituted helped to keep them all from spiraling downward into despair and murderous chaos from the get-go, and moreover she's spent a lot of time lately contemplating his general plan of "we need to bring all our classmates here and this will be our new safe home" — particularly because "all of us having a new safe home" was quite obviously something her dad wanted for them, too, and regardless of her feelings on her dad, that's kind of food for thought in terms of the lengths the guy went to in order to try to keep them all safe.

I think it's proooooobably likely that she'll continue to lightly tease him in the future? Not often, but I think she's sufficiently loosened up enough that it'll happen with slightly more regularity, if for no other reason than that maybe he'll be able to pick out a tell for "Kirigiri-kun is teasing me" and that'll be one small way they've become a little better at communicating.

...And she was actually completely honest when she said that she didn't so much care about the particular honorific as the thought behind it, though she might've misread his intention on that one a little — she took it as a slightly more personalized "I'm willing to treat you with the respect of an equal now as opposed to insisting on this vaguely passive-aggressive 'you are subordinate to me' remark", and since it was her birthday and all that was kind of a "oh what a thoughtful gift, Ishimaru-kun".

So basically if that wasn't his logic we should...maybe...not tell her otherwise...yeah. :|b

Meridiana on Tsukiyama

...Okay, Meridiana is kind of...in a really awkward sort of position with Tsukiyama right now, because her outlook on him is basically that sense of "we would never be friends (or possibly even associate with each other) were it not for this one thing that is kind of uniting us, but wouldn't you know it, that one thing exists, so...here we are."

Outwardly, he pretty much fits the profile of a decent gentleman: he dresses well in her estimation*, he addresses her properly, he generally treats her with respect and consideration, and so in a manner of speaking she's really got no foundation upon which to dislike him. At the same time, between the RULES OF NATURE thing and his personal struggles with facial expression and the fact that he didn't demonstrate a whole lot of empathy when she broke down crying in front of him, there's all these little twinges of something being off that she can't quite place, and it nags at her. I hate to pull the "she just gets a bad vibe" card, because it's not that, but it's more that she's subconsciously registering that something ain't right there, without being able to concretely say "it's this thing" or "it's that thing", so she's kind of penned in and forced to let it pass.

One of the semi-relevant things I feel like I need to point out about Meridiana here is that there's one point in canon where she makes an emotional appeal to Jezebel and tries to use the rationale of "but you love me, so...", which as you might expect hideously backfires on her. So I think some of that colors her experiences with Tsukiyama, too — if only in that she's been burned by equating courtesy and caretaking with affection and emotional attachment before, so as mentioned above there's this overall sense that Something Ain't Quite Right, but because she doesn't know what's not right, she can't really do anything about it.

That said, what she's been doing a lot of lately is flagrant escapism — she doesn't want to think about the life she left behind because it'll just make her break down and cry in a situation where she really doesn't have the structure or safety net to allow that, so instead she's kind of immersing herself in a very frivolous array of needs and concerns, like needing a gentleman to travel with because it's proper, and visiting entertainments because it's fun and that's What You Do, and at least some of the reason why she's still sticking with Tsukiyama is because she acknowledges that she doesn't really have any viable alternative option, so this one just sort of does for the time being?

...I realize this comes off as sounding kind of horrible but I think it kind of goes without saying that they're not really...friends so much, they're just kind of convenient for each other and pleasant enough to be around, and as you said, so long as we're keeping it on that surface level of courtesy and not peeling back the veneer to look at all the RULES OF NATURE underneath it all, it works out. She's kind of his pet curiosity and his presence in her life gives her a structure of how she fits in with this strange world she's been thrown into, and she's honestly very unlikely to say a bad word against him — on the contrary, she'd vouch for his reputation if anyone asked — but having been someone's doll before (rather literally, unfortunately), I think she can tell that things are fairly hands-off on his end and because of that she's sort of careful in terms of her expectations of him and how she handles their relationship.

* Look sometimes I read things about how Victorians felt about color in wardrobes and I got to this one article where it was like VICTORIAN MEN LOVED COLOR, TOO, THEY'D WEAR ORANGE AND GREEN AND CARMINE AND ALL SORTS OF SHIT (though probably not all at the same time) SO THEY WERE NO STRANGERS TO COLOR and I am just like .........god, you know what, okay then.

Since we discussed Kimblee → Greed recently, let's go with the other set of (far less technical) castmates:

Tsukiyama → Banjou
...oh...boy, um.

Tsukiyama has a lot of thoughts in Banjou's general direction, actually, and almost none of them are particularly positive; he's from Chapter 108, so he knows that Banjou turns out just fine after Kaneki-kun...uh, after he Did The Thing (Tsukiyama still isn't entirely sure what he thinks of that, so he's going the usual route of DISREGARD OUTSIDE OF ACKNOWLEDGING THAT IT WAS ACTUALLY BOSS AS HELL AND MORE THAN A LITTLE HOT), but he also knows that Kaneki spends what Tsukiyama considers an unreasonable amount of time upset over the actual doing of the thing. He still hadn't snapped out of it by the time Tsukiyama came to Johto, despite the fact that Tsukiyama went out of his way to try to help him, and Kaneki isn't even here right now with him but Banjou is, and Tsukiyama was already kind of pissy about the way that the others in their group were insisting on looking for Banjou rather than trying to find Kaneki, and the entirety of chapter 108 did not help - aaaand if you can't see where this is going you are either really optimistic or blind as hell.

So! He's projecting his frustration all the hell over Banjou, who has pretty much done nothing at all to deserve it, and holy shit is he willing to actually take it out on the guy now that he has the chance; he technically didn't go back on his word with regards to leaving Cherrygrove, because he did stay well past the three-day timeframe and was there when he claimed he'd be, but as soon as the opportunity arose he ditched with Meridiana because he...simply didn't want to be around anymore, among other things. Basically he's taking the opportunity to split hairs over technicalities, as much as he can without flat-out lying to the guy, and you had best believe that he'll claim it was all misunderstandings if Kaneki ever shows up and Banjou makes noises at him about it. And he suspects Banjou will make noises (whether he would or not in reality) because he's simply decided that that's how it's going to be and he won't be persuaded otherwise.

He's just...really prickly in general when it comes to Banjou and it's for a lot of really self-centered, irrational reasons; what it comes down to, though, is a massive amount of jealousy, even if he'd rather die before admitting to it. Kaneki really obviously favors Banjou despite the fact that he's worthless as a fighter and even more worthless as this "shield" he claims to be (at least as far as Tsukiyama is concerned); he doesn't understand why Kaneki takes so much pity (because surely it is pity) on a former member of Aogiri yet refuses to give him the time of day, and he's just...got a lot of really nasty thoughts toward the guy most of the time. He's willing to smile and be outwardly civil because he smiles and is civil toward most people, and he'll generally try to not treat him in ways that will get Banjou killed because he knows Kaneki wouldn't want that, but he's literally only humoring him for Kaneki's sake right now. He's not harboring any delusions that they're friends, and he's fine with the fact that they're not and he's even more fine with the notion that they never will be, because friendship isn't the goal here. The goal here is to do what he thinks Kaneki would want him to do in this circumstance, and that's "stay near Banjou, or at least stay somewhere that I can be found and/or contacted if needs be," so that's what he's going to do.

...all of this sounds horrible as hell but I AM NOT SURE WHAT WE WERE EXPECTING...

I'm going to blow everyone's minds with spoilers here: Maka actually DOES care about Joker and see him as a friend. And that scares the shit out of her. How dare he look like her father, how dare he act like he gives a crap what she has to say, how dare he be sympathetic. Nobody gave him the right to, she doesn't have room in her life for another adult male that treats her like family, he'll leave her behind too, she grew past needing validation from a dad figure. Maka highly values her independence, her ability to brush off being ignored or ditched because, hey, she expected it, she doesn't need anybody and she doesn't want to form a makeshift "family" with anyone, her own actual family fell apart, why would she want to see that happening again?

But, Joker wormed his way in and it snuck up on her, she honestly can't imagine going a day without seeing or talking to him now and that infuriates her. She just knows that she can't get closer to him or it'll leave her behind, it'll open up another hole in her life, but it's already happened and she can't stop it. It just makes her angrier and angrier, stop saying nice things to her, stop looking like her father, stop having no regard for your own health. Just stop it.

She does feel like she has a civic duty to protect idiots from themselves, or at least she feels she has an obligation to protect this idiot from himself. She doesn't respect him, but she does care about him, she does see him as a friend. Even scarier, she is starting to see him like a weird uncle that she never had.

Okay that totally drained me I need to take a break before moving onto kirikou and garry.

He really likes her! He's had several "What happened to your voice??" moments so far but he's... fortunately just barely self aware enough that he wouldn't ask. Greed wants to get to know her better and is really fascinated about Cloudbank. Botan thinks Veronica is very cute and of course he natural reaction to little girls is to spoil the hell out of them like a big sister should.

Maka likes Veronica and thinks she's nice, she's a little surprised by her speaking praise about taking down the Chupacabra. A) usually people react with "whoa what the fuck" when she talks about fighting monsters and B) she's...not used to praise from people in her own age group okay.

Xion is not going to lie, the X-like pattern on Ronnie's face threw her off for a moment, but then she actually started talking to her and realized, oh no, this girl is nice. Cue the "I'm making frieeeends!" high. She would really like to go to the beach with her and maybe make a shell charm/bracelet whatever. FRIENDSHIP!!!1

KIRIKOU. Her view of him has actually changed a lot since he came to Johto. At first she thought "oh good I'm finally not alone here" but was mildly disappointed that it wasn't someone actually on her team, still, it's a good opportunity to get to know Kirikou because she realizes that she doesn't actually know a lot about him at all (thanks Ohkubo).

Some of his quirks are aggravating to her and she really doesn't get his enthusiasm about dancing, she's always been too sure that she's going to mess up and get made fun of to try (when you're a perfectionist you're totes unwilling to try things you know you're not going to be instantly good at). But then again, it's nice having a friend to think about during the day, that's part of why she gets so many Pokemon for him, she sees one and thinks "oh I bet Kirikou would like that one."

he is the only one she's at present shared a lot of her insecurities/troubles in Johto with. While she feels bad about dumping that load of drama on him, "burdening" him with her troubles and worries, she also...feels like he's the only person she can actually trust with that. He won't tell anyone, and he'd give his thoughts on it honestly without coddling her but at the same time not calling her stupid for it. And it feels nice having someone you can really rely on, especially with the absence of Soul or any of their female companions.

Also he didn't get all weird about the asking him for a hug thing so, at least she knows he's as comfortable around her as she is with him.

And Xion's honestly shocked at how NICE Garry is, she's still not sure if he was actually real or if she imagined him.
