Well he can tell that she's at least from a world somewhat similar to his, which is a plus in this weird world of Pokemon, trolls, and. Other. Things.

She kind of reminds him of Rachel. It's the attitude, and he likes it. They're not close enough to be edging on 'friends' but he does appreciate her answers to his anon post, for one. They require some more talking before he considers her in the 'friend' category but she's definitely on the short list for friend candidates. :|b

Nanami is really nice! Mondo hasn't talked to her nearly enough, unfortunately, but the few times they have chatted have been... kinda strange sometimes, but overall very pleasant! He occasionally has manpain crises where he doesn't think he's worthy of having so many nice friends, and he considers Nanami among them, so there's... that?

(Nanami is also totally his type, but that's just awkward!)

OH MAN CHIHIRO

So the first time Chihiro was around, they managed to make nice and everything went well, until Chihiro left that is. Mondo's been terrified that that was a fluke and if he talks to Chihiro again things won't go as well and he'll accidentally terrify the poor kid, or worse, hurt him somehow. (Physically or emotionally, either way would be awful.)

So ending up in a conversation with Chihiro was not part of the plan. He would have preferred time to work out what he was going to say, but at this point he knew he was going to keep avoiding Chihiro forever if he had his way, so maybe this was for the best?? He wasn't counting on Chihiro not knowing what happens to him though send help someone.

As for Chihiro himself, Mondo is very fond of him! He's very nice and incredibly strong, even if he doesn't believe it. Mondo would genuinely love to be friends and get to know Chihiro better, but he's really scared of messing everything up. He doesn't think the anger will be an issue here since he has better control over himself (and he's not in a situation that's as stressful as it was in the school), but hurting Chihiro at all would be awful.

So he's... kind of hopeful but still really scared. Maybe someday we'll be close friends, hopefully!!

(Also I am going to get back to that log, I've just been feeling dead lately.)

Botan thinks Gon is a sweet kid and it's super cute how happy he and Killua make each other. They're both very important to her and she has actually started referring to them as their little brothers, she asked Killua if that was okay first because she wanted to be sure that it would be right and she wouldn't be offending them. She also thinks, vaguely, that he could be related to Yusuke with his looks. She knows he's not completely sunshine and rainbows, she's fully aware that Killua could kill them all if he wanted to and she feels she can safely assume that Gon could do the time.

But the important thing is that they don't want to and they're her dearly beloved fearsome little brothers. She loves them a lot and though it's, of course, unneeded she still wants to look after and dote on them as much as possible.

Oh man Alphonse.

Greed still doesn't know what made the switch from seeing Alphonse as a means to an end to someone to protect happened, but it happened and the "must protect" switch never turned off. He did threaten to kill Al, but I honestly interpret that as much more of an empty threat given the fact that he willingly let Al go in the woods when it became clear if the kid continued to follow him he was probably going to die with Greed and for whatever reason this is something he could not stand for.

Kidnapping him was honestly nothing personal, really! He just suffers from 2003 syndrome and probably should attempt to use his words more.

He's glad to have one Elric from his world here because the other Amestris sounds confusing and terrible even if their world is probably the worst one of the two. Greed doesn't know how much things went to shit after he died but man does he really hope that Al is going to be okay here because he actually might feel a little bad for the kidnapping thing now. Maybe.

HEY HENRY!!!

Naki is a literal five year old when it comes to relationships. Having a positive conversation with someone means that they're a friend, for example. He's not exactly a nice guy, so it's no surprise that he doesn't have a lot of friends.

Henry won him over the moment he offered to be a punching bag, let's be honest with ourselves. He really needed that at the moment and Henry seemed to be fine after it, so that's great! Naki is terrified of being left alone, so having Henry here has been an immense help. Of course that also means that he's latched on really hard and probably won't let go anytime soon, sorry about that.

He's very happy spending time with Henry and he probably seeks Henry out at least once a day to bother him (probably about all the different sorts of food he's been trying)!

The way they met is kind of ridiculous and pathetic, but regardless, Henry really feels like he's got something good going with Naki! He's pretty much the only person in the Rocket base (aside from Cynthia) that Henry feels like he 'knows' in any capacity, and so he... probably gravitates towards Naki whenever he sees him.

Except Maka doesn't actually think Scar is strange, honestly she's known weirder adults in her life and Scar gives her more the impression of someone who's plagued with ghosts of the past. Reserved, of course, worryingly unmindful of his own health and safety. Maka's the kind of person that wants to look after people, and Scar has become a person like this--even if she won't make him aware of that entirely.

It's really rare for someone to accept Henry unconditionally! Most people fall into the category of "likes him, but politely declines to talk about his bad points", whereas Naki... really does not seem to care. Although most of the time Henry plays up his weirdness to freak people out, with Naki he feels absolutely no need to act; he just acts like himself. His nerdy, attention-seeking self. Henry likes to pretend he's a lone wolf all the time, but that's absolute bullshit; he really likes company, and really enjoys the daily chats. 0w0
