CADDY WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH YOU.

I am perpetually impressed with the amount of depth you've given Blake, both development-wise and just as a character in general. The amount of thought and introspection and care that you put into playing this utter asshole is absolutely fascinating to watch, and it gives a lot of insight to his character and makes me consider things that I would not have necessarily thought about before with regards to him. You are another one that has made me care deeply about the struggles of your fictional person, let's put it that way.

I also just...really love seeing him around because you're a brilliant writer and you manage to hit this great balance of things that are surprisingly poignant interspersed with Blake's general TAKE ME SERIOUSLY DAMMIT; his posts are consistently hilarious and I enjoy reading his threads, and then once in a while stuff happens that is just sort of...how dare you make this jerk tug at my heartstrings why.

Basically dear god A+ and congratulations on your everything, and may Blake continue to soar like the majestic Magnet Rise Steelix he has become.

Ahh, thank you! The funny thing about Blake is there's just enough there to make it a ton of fun to try to fill in the blanks. Like, first you think, "Haha, why the hell would somebody act that way?" Then you think, "Well, hell, why would somebody act that way?" Especially how the story shakes out, there's tons of grist for a hard-fought redemption story, and I am a huge sucker for those. I am so glad that somebody's reading along with his grump and his grudging efforts to be a better person (while still not quite able to handle that he was ever a bad one.)

AS FOR YOU AND THE IDIOT BRIGADE. Have I told you how much I love them? It's great to bounce a outwardly, aggressively simplistic guy like Blake against people with, say, strange but actually thought-out worldviews. Especially Ishimaru, because you're amazing at bringing out that combination of naivete and rigidness mixed with an optimism, even after all he's been through. And he is determined to get the mad bomber.

ANYWAY YEAH. KEEP ON KEEPING ON AND LET"S HAVE OUR IDIOTS HAVE LUNCH.
