With a new month shortly upon us, it's a great time to chat it up with people and talk about what CR you'd like to get going with them! Maybe there's a someone you're dying to meet, or a plot you've been wanting to run that you don't quite have the right pieces for yet; whatever the case may be, this is the right place to come! Blurb: A former infiltration specialist from a special ops team in the 2550's, talks a lot about aliens and AI and space travel. And sports. Currently an athletic coach for the Goldenrod Granbulls. He prefers audio or video.
Plans: Due to his job, York is going to stick around Goldenrod at least through the month and then probably do some traveling with the Granbulls (how do Johto's baseball teams get around? Are there buses? Do they fly as some kind of winged horde of sportsballers? Teleportation? I have no idea) every two weeks until the season's over. I'm hoping he can grab some badges during this time but also, you know, go home to Casa Freelancer often enough.

Also! He'll be attempting to breed a shiny Snubbull ahead of the start of the baseball season as a promotion for the Goldenrod Granbulls, so look out for that! I can't guarantee a shiny roll but here's hoping.

Blurb: Dave is a seventeen-year-old mess of memes and psychological scarring who's pretty clever with words but has about all the emotional competence of a stump. He prefers text to audio or video.
Plans: Dave's future is totally open! He's traveling with Jade Harley and Penny Polendina, so wherever they go is where he'll be, but he sort of doesn't have any aims right now. He might focus a bit more if I get him a camera or something, I'll have to think about that.

Dave's also a Trainer so he'll have to pick up badges eventually, but he's not super into the whole idea of battling, soooo we'll see.

What you're looking for: Positive or negative CR are both welcomed – positive because wow I play a lot of jerks and it's nice to get them friends once in a while, negative because wow I play a lot of jerks and that's what they're here for! I tend to prefer bromance/shiptease over straight-up shipping (though I am not opposed to straight-up shipping if people ask for it and are willing to work stuff out) and I have a massive soft spot for rivalries because no seriously they are one of my favorite things. So really, anything you want can pretty much be worked with.

Blurb: Nonon is a member of an Absurdly Powerful Student Council and one of the strongest fighters in Honnouji Academy. She likes flying, music, cute things, and has...questionable skills with animals, given that she has a few uniforms adorned with their bones; she's also from a world where sentient clothing is a thing, because it's one of those canons where you can't make this shit up, and as such she also enjoys kicking people's asses because that's something she's been trained to do. She's sort of a jerk with a heart of gold, though the "jerk" usually wins out by a landslide and the "gold" really only shows up when things get dire. She's getting better about it in Johto! ...Sorta. Maybe.
Plans: I don't really have any plans for her, and if anything I've been pretty aimless with her lately and would like to do something about that. She tends to be decently-suited to Adorable Girl CR when she's having a good day, also sometimes chatting it up with other soldiers (former or otherwise), also hitting up members of the Cute Girl Combat Squad just about any day of the week because holy shit you get her though. She's also got a temper that I am not opposed to playing with, so if you want negative CR with her as well, go ahead and hit me. :|a

Blurb: Outwardly he's a college student/social worker in training with a quirky-as-hell fashion sense and no indoor voice; he's one of those people for whom the word "eccentric" was coined, in that he's attractive and rich and therefore no one wants to call him "weird as fuck" to his face. Underneath all that...well, for starters, he's not human, despite appearances; he's a member of a species known as "ghouls", known for their predatory nature, enhanced physical abilities, magical weapons that work on bullshit biology, and the fact that they eat humans...granted, he's also flamboyant, over-the-top, completely ridiculous and prone to injecting a healthy dose of melodrama into literally everything he does, and he usually ends up making everyone's lives a little more surreal.
Plans: No real plans for the duration, though he's getting restless and may want to actually...go somewhere in the near future. Otherwise, CR with him can really go either way – either really pleasant or super-not, depending on how you want things to go and what you're looking for!

Location: Cherrygrove City, which he is apparently determined to never leave goddamn it-
Blurb: Ginti is an arbiter, meaning that he judges the souls of the dead; he also was...technically not alive and created as a supposed blank slate with no capacity for emotional attachment or sympathy for/genuine understanding of humans and ahahaha oh boy has that been a fucking mess lately. Otherwise he's loud, pretty far over on the arrogant side and more than a bit of a jerk, but he's kind of...calming down a bit lately so he's slightly less jumped-up and pissed off about everyone all the damn time.
Plans: He's...kind of sorting through a mass of Issues right now, but that's working out reasonably well for the time being so he's more stable than he could be and a bit less prone to being completely volatile; he's another one where CR can go either way, though, so hit me with whatever you want.

Blurb: Back home, Mettaton is an idol, entertainer, TV star, and killer robot who's gotten literally all of his ideas of how humans work from media that he's managed to get his hands on and not through...actually interacting with humans. He's flamboyant, narcissistic and...generally pretty weird, but above all he's a showman who wants to make an impression on people; he believes that there's no such thing as bad publicity, and as long as people are paying attention to him he's happy. He's also completely amoral – not necessarily immoral, he'll just as soon hug you as he will harm you, but he doesn't really think anything of hurting people if it suits his purposes – but overall he's surprisingly positive and optimistic, even if he does trend a bit toward overshare due to no brain-to-mouth filter.
Plans: He's going to be going to Fuchsia once the weather's a bit nicer, because holy shit the production studios are over there – but otherwise, he's just in Goldenrod and kind of getting himself acquainted with how everything works. (Also his new cardiovascular system and impressively breakable human body, uh.) Positive or negative CR is fine with me; he's also got a really strong personality and he's pretty much at self-awareness zero at all times, so personality clashes...are probably going to happen, at least with some people.

Blurb: Gundam is a guy who absolutely loves being in Pokemonland because it gives him the opportunity to raise all sorts of fantastic amazing creatures. Unfortunately, he kinda sucks at conveying this sometimes because he decides to dress and act like some sort of dark wizard that would serve as some sort of RPG enemy instead.

He's probably a little down right now since his only other classmate just headed home, but he's also the type to not really show that in any sort of comprehensible words.
Plans: I don't have any major plans for him at the moment. Odds are he's going to try and tackle Blaine's Gym soon enough to get one step further to clearing all of the Kanto Gyms, but that's about it.

Blurb: Komasan is a komainu, those lion dog statues you see in front of shrines. Of course, he doesn't look like that anymore, he's now a dumb teenager with stupid hair, but he will forever claim he's a dog. He has an obsession with soft serve ice cream and is one of the nicest — if not a little ignorant and naive — people out there. He's also a huge country bumpkin (His accent should be very noticeable to other people, at least if they're from Japan) and not really that great with things like electronics. But he's learning and he's getting there, he can even take selfies.
Plans: Like I mentioned, when the weather warms up, Komasan is going to want to travel so he can let his Lapras have a little more outside time. In other words, time to go to Cianwood City. He'll be especially excited to see the MooMoo Farm along the way. Yay for some time out of the big city! I'm sure he won't mind more travel partners.

Blurb: Naki's a ghoul, a species that looks human but actually has bullshit biology and eats humans to survive. Naki absolutely hates humans because he was imprisoned and treated badly by them for quite some time, but he's been in Route for over a year and he's beginning to sit down. He's still prone to wanting to beat people up and crying over everything, but for the most part he's located his chill. He's an absolute disaster of a person who has difficulty hearing on top of being quick to anger and overly-emotional.
Plans: I don't have any concrete plans for him, but maybe he'll go traveling at some point, who knows. He'd hate it. Naki's getting a bit restless, so maybe he'll breed Inkays or something. As far as CR goes, pretty much anything works for Naki! He's prone to getting angry and riled up very easily, so negative CR would be easy if you want to go that route, but he's also a tremendous child and having a positive conversation with him means you're friends with him so uh... there's that too. I can roll with anything and there's not any particular dynamic I'm looking for, so let me know if you've got something in mind!

Blurb: A manakete (humanoid dragon capable of turning into a dragon) who is over a thousand years old and still looks like she's a kid, Nowi is very fond of playing and being a massive ball of energy. She's pretty dumb but she means well and she has moments where she's surprisingly insightful. She's pretty good at looking after people when she actually tries, but when she's not trying she's busy playing hide and seek for ten hours. She's also very emotional, but she doesn't really get angry and instead is happy most of the time.
Plans: No plans for Nowi either, though she's probably not leaving Cherrygrove any time soon because she likes it here. She tends to get a lot of positive CR because it's hard to get on her bad side. If you want to try that though then I am totally here for it! She gets along best with teenagers or kids, people who will be just as immature and silly as she is, basically!

She likes pink and flowers and is actually getting a tolerance for sweets now even if she still won't actively eat them.
Plans: Uh, does "adopting everyone" count. That's a thing I think. She's also seriously considering opening herself up for Pokemon counseling--as in working out problems between trainers and Pokemon via mediating.

Oh, she was also partly dog at one point? And called Witch of Space? But that bit's irrelevant.
Plans: Teaching Dave to git gud probably, collecting Grass type 'mons, badge runs despite the fact that she's a breeder and doesn't need to. Ummm. I don't have much planned for the future.

Blurb: 18 year old bookworm not-trying-so-hard-anymore. Maka has had a hell of a time adjusting to life in the Pokemon world considering where she came from was a dystopian and fairly merciless place where kids are trained to fight to the death for the peace of the world no it's not the Hunger Games.

But she doesn't talk about it much anymore. She keeps herself busy with things like running the Johto Chapter Book Club and...books, naturally.
Plans: I guess she'll be doing a lot of contemplating about what the hell she's supposed to do now that she's an adult officially. Other than that, I don't have anything planned in the immediate future, all joking aside about friendiversaries and related things.

Blurb: Puppet clone girl that has had a hell of a miserable existence that still plagues her and her alone since no other parties involved remember what happened. Xion has adapted to life in the Pokemon world and being a human well enough, but is still plainly pretty inexperienced with the concept as a whole. She tries hard in everything that she does and she goes out of her way to be nice to people since it kinda sucks to be treated like crap.
Plans: Somehow, someway, she will make sea-salt ice cream exist in this world. But other than that, I don't have anything planned except her doing the Johto badge run for next month.

Blurb: Peridot's fairly new to Route! She's only been here about 2 months now, and she's still earning the ropes of both Pokemon and uh. Being human, actually. Back home she's literally a magical space rock, and one who's whole life revolved around working her job as a technician. She doesn't really know how to relax or have fun, and a lot of basic earth concepts still confuse the heck out of her. Fortunately she's a quick learner, so she has been picking up on some things, but. Yeah. She still has quite a way to go.
She's also a member of Team Rocket currently, and I have no immediate plans to change any of that because she's actually fairly happy there! Peridot is happier having a job to do, and nasty people to boss her around into doing it. The moral implications of stealing Pokemon don't really mean much to her yet, either, so she's pretty chill with just keeping on as is.
Plans: I have absolutely nothing going beyond a vague desire to have her obtain more than four Pokemon, and a desire to get her to venture further out into the region and away from Goldenrod a bit.

He's well-practiced in most forms of fortune-telling and divination, and he's also very invested in supernatural events, creatures and objects. But he won't call any of that "supernatural", because that implies it's unscientific!! His eccentricities aside, Hagakure's a laid-back, chill kinda guy for the most part who's easy enough to get along with if you can deal with his occasional weird and stupid ramblings. Outside his passions he tries not to take much seriously and just go with the flow...when he can, anyway. He's prone to paranoid freakouts though. Also he may or may not be a cool agent on the side back home. That could very well be a thing.
Plans: He's actually going to be joining Gundam on the remainder of his badge quest! As moral support, because like heck he trains his Pokemon well enough to do a gym challenge. This means that for a little while he won't be available for face-to-face readings in Goldenrod, but he's always available for over-the-'Gear ones! He'll be headed to the Cinnabar Island...area, so if anyone's in that area and wants to thread something, I am game. c:
