I've never mentioned this to anyone, but Route is what actually kept me RPing and basically on the internet as a whole. I started LJRPing in March 2010,and I'd made a few mistakes in those early months after an emotional upheaval, so I felt kind of useless as an RPer and a writer and figured it would be better to just cut my losses and scram. But then I picked up Lightning and was enabled and within a week, I was playing and regaining my self-confidence in spades. It's really thanks to Route that I'm actually who I am now, though that probably sounds really really sappy and cliche to you guys. We've all been through a lot, sure; drops and apps and bumps and bruises and soaring emotional highs, but it's been amazing and I'm so grateful to be a part of this.

So, what I'm trying to say through my half-asleep brain is: thank you. Thank you to Sunny and Okami for first coming up with the idea even if it wasn't meant to get this freakin' big, thank you to all the mods and techies and aids who have kept this game afloat as long as it's been, and thank you to all the players, modly ones included, for making the game the most welcoming one I've ever had the honor of being in. This place is my RP home, and it's always going to be.

AND OF COURSE: HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY TO ROUTE! Here's to a bunch more years of happy funtiems, everyone!

Playing with you has been such a privilege. I remember seeing Light's open post, waaaay back in...November 2010, was it? Wow, that was a long time ago. And she and Leon became fast friends. I remember staying up to talk to you, and all the long talks we'd have no just about them but about all sorts of things. You're a talented writer, and your skills have definitely grown in all the time I've known you, which makes you even more of a pleasure to tag with now than you were then. I'm so sorry Leon and Light's love story had to 'end' the way it did, as it were, but you can bet I am going to drag you back to my musebox for fluffy shippy shit, and there's nothing you can do about it.

And on a personal level, I'm so happy to call you my friend. You're such a joy to talk to, and while you're shy at first, getting you to open up was fun and rewarding. |D Thanks for always being there, offering support or an ear to listen when I'm feeling down. And thanks for putting up with me spamming my cat hug emote on plurk, I think that deserves a special mention.
