I'm really fond of banter, in particular, and it probably goes without saying that I live for shenanigans. Yagyuu could use a few more friends and Albert...well, Albert could use some volunteers for people who don't mind him coming in and being an asshole all over their posts (I worry constantly about this), and Carmen is just really easy to tag with for everyone, so!

IT'S OKAY. I mean, in all honesty I have kind of moved on from it (it was what, like two months ago now?) and would be okay with just letting it go! RL kind of swallowed us all up this summer and eventually it just kind of becomes a moot point, you know? But I'm sure we could figure out something along similar lines for Heather and Carmen to do in the future! I'd really love to get the two of them hanging out and having SRS DISCUSSIONS, too. Maybe they could do something with Heather running off/losing her temper re: Claudia showing up? Teen Girl Rage Issues would ping Carmen for Srs Bzns, certainly, because she had plenty of them herself when she was Heather's age, and that could potentially lead into a "then you end up like me" conversation which could circle back around into the "so how the fuck do you and Coop make it work" discussion. Or something along those lines!

GOD I'm so sorry. ;-; That's fine-- I still feel really bad for taking so long on that though. But yeah I'd really love to generate some new threads between them, then. I really miss playing with you and I know I've been looking forward to developing Heather's CR with Carmen for a long time. I'd definitely be okay with them having a chat (in-person OR on the 'Gear) about that whole deal, it should turn out really interesting!

Sion and Ryner have actually been researching local legends/legendary pokemon a LOT- part of the reason Sion's been so gung-ho about collecting all the badges is that it gives them an excuse to travel all over Johto and Kanto to sniff out potential leads. I'd have to double-check with Ryner's player to find out just how MUCH they know, but given Ryner's research skills I imagine they've picked up a few things, so. There is a definite possibility of information exchange if Sion is approached about it, at least!

Oh, that'd be awesome! I'm not entirely sure what Carmen's going to do about it yet, honestly — whether she'll aim to ferret out information over the Gear or by talking to people, or if she'll go the five-finger discount method and just sort of subtly take off with anybody's research that she comes across. If she's eager to keep her interest under wraps, she's more likely to steal it (though she'd almost certainly give it back in the end, once she was done with it). But that's a great lead, thank you! It'd be great to do something with that.

I would too! She and Heather have joked around before that Carmen and Harry should totally team up on her for something or another, and I keep meaning to have Carmen drop in to say hi, but I haven't found an opportunity to seize yet! Let's definitely do something in the future. C:

Also, I don't have anything specific planned, but I was wondering how you feel about Cobra adding Carmen's identity to his list of demands or threatening an attack if her identity isn't revealed?

Oh, hm! That's actually a really interesting suggestion — I mean, it makes perfect sense that he would and I could see some really neat consequences coming out of it if he did. Depending on the attack he was threatening (and really, how credible a threat she thought it was), that would probably be enough to get her to show herself, honestly — she definitely wouldn't sit around and hide if people were going to get hurt because of her, so it'd definitely force her into reacting. The problem is, it'd also out her as a thief to Johto in general and that in itself is going to come with some pretty major consequences, CR-wise, so I don't want to make any definite decisions before I've had a chance to think about how we could play that.

So I guess tl;dr I'm not averse to the idea by any means (because it's an awesome one), but if we did, we'd have to kind of finesse how to handle it?

Hey there! I'm still interested in trying to get some more CR with Carmen. Larry's not really one for the random trivia...but he's on the way to Blackthorn so maybe they could cross paths at the Lake of Rage? Obviously he doesn't know Carmen's identity or what she looks like but it might be funny if sometime there's a "...oh hey I drew the Golden Gate Bridge for you!!" moment.

... And considering I actually have no idea how he got that drawing to her, maybe we could work with that too?

That'd be pretty cool! I'm actually probably going to get a post for her up in the next day or two with action at the Lake of RAAAAAAGE, so there's always the chance he could drop in on that if he's in the area right now? And if not, I think she's going to be hanging around Mahogany for a little while so they could always run into each other, too.

And re: the drawing, maybe we could just say he hasn't delivered it yet because he couldn't track her down? And then we could just play it off as a coincidence, like she sees him drawing or something and they talk about art and then he's like OH BTW THIS GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE PICTURE and she'd be like ......oh that's mine and then SUDDENLY CR.

For some reason I want to see what Apollo and Carmen talking would be like. The kid has no real understanding of how big the world really is (which I have plans for fixing later) and doesn't try to understand things that don't directly impact his life, like the world beyond his little life or even himself. He's also seen and "talked" to Entei (psychic powers). Unfortunately he can't read and hasn't been shown how to get the PokéGear to read to him out loud, so I haven't been able to tag Carmen's posts. Conveniently, however, he's also at the Lake of Rage right now. He'd be avoiding the touristy areas like the plague but there's no reason they couldn't run into each other somehow if you're interested?

Would you like her to teach him how to get the Gear to do that? She'd be more than happy to assist him if she found out he was having that problem! And possibly impart a fuckton of other KNOWLEDGE!! onto him, too, let's be real. I think they could have a really excellent conversation!

Also, she's...er, going to be Rather Dramatically flying a dragon over the Lake of RAAAAAGE, so it wouldn't be difficult at all for him to spot her, since she'll be kind of, uh.

Hayate could take another shot at chatting up Yagyuu sometime?! He certainly won't be vanishing on him even if they're only somewhat-long-time acquaintances.

Actually, that raises a topic that we should definitely talk about! I know I've been sort of terrible at keeping up CR between Yagyuu and Hayate, and I admit that's completely my fault for dropping the ball. I've also read your description for Hayate on a couple of these past memes and from what I've seen, you've said that Yagyuu is the kind of character type that Hayate tends to get along with really well? The whole cool serious gentleman megane thing, which admittedly is pretty much Yagyuu to a tee.

The thing is, I'm not always sure what to do from Yagyuu's perspective about Hayate, because a lot of times he seems to come off a little too...wacky for Yagyuu's tastes, I guess? And I admit I don't know anything about Hayate's series, so that's not a criticism of the character or playing by any means! It's just a little less compatible of a relationship from Yagyuu's end than it is from Hayate's, it seems like.

So I'd really like it if we could kind of figure out something to do with them with regards to that, because I'd love to have CR with Hayate and it's really my fault that it's currently as estranged as it is; it's just that I don't always know how to navigate Hayate's character quirks and end up dropping the ball because of it.
