Anyway, before I start my V-day tags I will say one thing here; I know I don't plurk with many people, and I AIM with even less with you folks on here, but you guys are some of the loveliest and most welcoming people I know, hell, so much so I even made an RP!S about it a while back.

Anyway, when I came here, I apped with my GF, but she lost her zeal for the game a month or so in, and I was pretty scared that I'd have to follow, since I know my characterisation of this guy is a little less friendly than most people play. Not only have I stayed, I've made some really nice CR with people, and still feel welcome, even through my low periods when work and home life get hectic.

Anyway, long story short; I love you guys, you're amazing and don't ever change; I just wish I'd been able to pull myself out of my shell earlier and gotten to chat with everyone before the recent character exodus happened. I won't be making the same mistake this time round.

I am consistently impressed at the way you get yourself (and Russia) out there tagging with different people and have truly carved out a niche for yourself in the game. In a game as big and fast as Route, that's not always easy, so kudos! I'm afraid that, without much knowledge of APH, I can't really say if he's IC or not, but his threads are always a fun read!

I just have to say, I am constantly blown away at how incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming the people I've met here have been since I apped seven months ago. I had my trepidations about joining, not least of which because I knew next to nothing about Pokemon prior to arrival and have had to pretty much learn everything on the fly, but everyone has been so phenomenally helpful and understanding and just generally amazing, it's ridiculous to me. Let me start this off by saying: I know nothing about PoT. Big fat zero. Hate sports manga, give no fucks about tennis in general, and so on. And yet. And yet!

So first we get this big tennis cast and, of course, because this always happens with big casts--it happened with KH cast when we were bighueg--there was a lot of in-cast threading and comparatively little out-of-cast threading. Again, normal. But Alex, you had just...not sure how to express this. Reached out? Stretched yourself? Exploded? Basically you've really gone out of your way to net (lolol i'm punny /shot) Yagyuu some great cross-canon CR (of which I am lucky enough to be a part) and, in my eyes at least, he's really blossomed as a character and I now have a lot more personal stake in him. You have made me give a shit about a sports manga character. How. I don't. How.

And you--well. You're lovely, does this even need to be said? You're sweet and kind and intelligent, jesus you're sharp sometimes, and the amount of depth that goes into your roleplaying in general just baffles and amazes me.

Route, you are the first panfandom I ever app'd into, and you've set an extremely high precedent for all games that I've been in-- this game, and all its players, has never ceased to keep me grinning, even when I don't necessarily want to be on my side of the computer screen. Hey there, Route. It's this time again when Lycoris gets to be a sap.

I remember that May 2010 (can you believe it's been that long?) when I stumbled upon a soon-to-be-opened LJRP game based on Pokémon. Back then I thought, "Wow, what a fun idea! Sure, why not, gonna give it a shot."

I can say without exaggerating it was a decision that changed my life.

This game is probably the best RP experience I've ever had in my life. The players are all amazing, creative and talented people, friendly and open to everyone since day one. You guys are the ones who make this place awesome beyond what I can express with words. I feel honored to be able to call myself one of you, to get to know you and to play with you. It doesn't matter if we chat OOCly or not, if we've threaded before or not; you are beautiful people, no exceptions.

So, to each and every person who has ever been in this game: THANK YOU. I wish I could somehow repay you for all the wonderful things you've done for me, and for creating a place I can really call my RP home. It doesn't matter if you've been here for a month or a year, if you're a newbie or a veteran: you and your character(s) make a difference. I enjoy every single thread in this game, whenever I'm its participant or a mere spectator. Some of them make me laugh, some of them make me cry, and all of them give me something to look forward to everyday.

Today, 1 year, 7 months and 16 days (assuming I can do maths) since the game's opening, this place is still as much fun as it was at the very beginning, if not more. I've watched it grow, expand, move -- and despite many things changing, remaining awesome. And it's thanks to you all.

I apologize for all the things we didn't get to play; for my slowness and failure in general, too. All of you are always so understanding and patient to me, I will repeat myself and say it once again: thank you. All of you.

I really hope I'll be able to stay in this game as long as only possible (or as long as you can bear with me) and create even more beautiful memories and feelings, both for myself and everyone around!
