[For all of his brash devil-may-care antics in the past several weeks, all of Ocelot's actions have actually been pretty well thought out. Most, if not all of it, has been a careful act.

He doesn't normally get easily frustrated unless things go terribly wrong.

This?

This is one of those situations where everything goes wrong.

He's currently trying to run down some strange lizard thing with a giant flame on its back that is holding a red military beret in its mouth and frantically running as fast as it can away from him as possible on its little legs.]

Get back here dammit!

[Well, here's a strange sight in the middle of the road today: a beat up looking Tyrogue covered in bruisies and scratches kneeling on the ground and looking attentively up at an extremely tall and muscular individual who is staring right back. Anyone who can get over their shock at the sight of this fighting game like individual and who pays attention can tell it's a woman.]

[It seems as though she's lecturing the much smaller Pokemon.]

To have ambition and the energy with which to relentlessly pursue a goal are noble things. Yet one must know not to mindlessly attack any which are within reach. Such lack of thought will only harm you. You must focus your strength, and use it to defend, not harm with no care for others.

Do you understand, my friend?

[The Tyrogue gives an eager nod. It looks like the beginning of a teacher and student relationship... It definitely seems as though neither of them are paying any attention to anyone else coming along the path.]

[The city of Goldenrod has probably seen more than its fair share of strange happenstance. It would seem that every other day something was happening.

And it just so happens that today is the day that the door to a appliance store busts open and a cloaked girl sprints out into the open as fast as her legs can carry her, followed shortly by a smoking Murkrow who seemed to be just as spooked as his owner.]

No one... [Veronica panted lightly, brushing herself off while keeping a wary eye on the store.] No one said there would be... ghosts.

[ This girl is hard to miss, with her wild hair and loud voice. Her whismur seems a bit terrified as she speaks with it. ]

Come on, do it with me. SCREAM! [ and then she appears to be screaming, albeit excitedly. The whismur makes a small noise, then... WOW YEP, NOW IT'S SCREAMING TOO. THAT SURE IS HAPPENING.

> Approach...?
> Run away. ]

Dios mio, if you're going to follow me around, we need to work on some ground rules. And the first rule is: don't trip me up!

[ This is directed at a sheepish-looking Makuhita, who had in fact raced in front of his new trainer as she was walking. Audrey's hands are on her hips as she scolds, breaking off to mutter darkly in Spanish. ]

We have to get to the next place in loco land, yeah? If I can't work as a mechanic here, we'll just have to try the next city.

[ Stupid town with its stupid rules and stupidly only offering positions at the center or the pokemart or other things she doesn't care about... ]

When we find a place, I'll teach you some tricks. Eh, I could have used someone with your strength back on the ship...ah, too late now.

[If you into the library in Viridian, you may just find this young guy almost buried in books that talk about the history or this place. Mostly about Pokémon and legends and such. What kind of legends does this place hold?

It looks like he's been here a while, from the amount of books set aside.]

[Things that should have happened after Kazuya became the King of Bel:

Things that actually happened:
> Get thrown into a completely different world
> Join a shady organization
> Receive two demons in some kind of balls

Something tells him this wasn't what Naoya planned.

He's currently contemplating this on a bench in Goldenrod, reading some sort of a guide book (wait, did we have those for COMPs...)]

[He doesn't let himself stop and feel anything until he's outside the town he woke up in, until he can get some quiet and peace to turn things over.

Once there, though -- once he has found a shady tree to sit under, with this strange new puppy who is now his companion standing guard over him -- Itachi draws his knees up to his chest and lets himself be a very confused and very overwhelmed barely-teen for a little while. Everything has changed too quickly; over the space of only a few days he has gone from Uchiha Itachi, double agent, child of the proud but treasonous Uchiha clan, to Uchiha Itachi, mass murderer, familicide --and then from there to Uchiha Itachi, a nobody in this world, a teenage boy with no special abilities at all and instead a large, fiery puppy as a companion?

He turns it all over, trying to settle it, trying to put his life in some semblance of order at least inside his own mind, when the growlithe's barking and growling calls his attention. Someone is approaching?]

[This Rhyhorn is actually pretty cool. While it's taken him days to get used to this place, especially the fact that everything seemed kind of... easily breakable (or maybe that was just him and he owed Cherrygrove's PokéCenter a new glass coffee table), he's actually pretty well-off. Right now, he's off to train--or kind of.

He actually felt bad for making his Rhyhorn attack smaller things, so he's decided to train with it. Standing shirtless, and honestly wishing he had his powers, he waits for the pokémon to attack.]

Alright, buddy! Come at me!

[...But his Rhyorn just kind of. Sits there.]

[In a moment of self-discovery, Armin has realized that he's actually quite fond of the waterside. He can only assume this is the edge of an ocean, as it's wide and fast and all he can see. The splashing of the water next to him lets him know that his Marill is getting a kick out of it as well.

This world is ten times stranger than his own home world, especially how their 'monsters' come in the forms of small beasts--or some large ones, given the dragons--but none are as huge and ridiculous as titans. No one's even heard of titans.

It feels like a world without fear and it's odd. Armin's still on edge, but not right now. Standing here, pants rolled up, on the beach, while one monster (who's actually rather adorable and not nearly as 'monster' like) plays next to him... It's peaceful.]

[She feels like she's suffering. Well, in a way, she kind of is, a little bit. So of course, lesson one of being on a trail was don't eat the berries, but after running out of her packed lunch, Sasha was in despair.

Therefore, she had eaten berries.

A Lum berry, to be precise. The taste was odd, nothing like a normal berry but oddly with a sweet aftertaste. But ten minutes in, as they settled in her stomach, she had to bolt for it as her intestines practiced gymnastics. Trying to hold it in didn't seem to work, and there was nothing that seemed to save her from this ridiculous fate--well, nothing until she discovered she was right on the edge of a town. Ignoring signs, people and pokemon, she hurried her way into the first inviting stranger's house and made herself cozy in the bathroom.

...Thirty minutes later, she's outside again, feeling a little sour but with a more settled stomach (or so she hopes), and she finally decides to make her way around the city. With the most of her pocket change still in the backpack, she figures she can get an inn room later... When she finds the inn. But so far, the quaint little town is enough to keep her interested. And only half-distracting from the gurgling in her stomach.]
