For the anniversary plot at the end of this month, we have planned a 4th wall event! More detailed information will be up after this most recent Rocket Plot is complete~

Out of curiosity and looking at the calendar, are all five days marked just for the 4th wall event? I mean I love 4th wall events just as much as the next guy, but going by how often we've had them, having it last for five days is a bit much in my opinion... Especially when anything that happens is always completely forgotten.

To be perfectly honest I was kind of hoping for something neat that all our characters would get to actually remember happening for the big two year mark.

BUT if the 4th wall even is only a portion of those five days, feel free to disregard me.

I've been meaning to ask about this in the OOC comm, but awesome game-wide plot came up. :3 In the aftermath, however....

There are currently OOC plans in place for Archer and Malik to discover a mutual interest in Psychic-type Pokémon - particularly, in using them for mind control. This plot would only be relevant to those who happened to encounter one of the two in person (though Malik is going on a trip pretty soon with Yuugi), but:

Is there anyone interested in getting their character brainwashed to hand over their Pokémon/steal their friends' Pokémon and deliver them to Team Rocket? I can't say for certain when Archer and Malik would be ready to start actively hunting down victims, but it'd be good to know whether there were interested victims. (Malik's the type who'd really love the hypnotism to convince these people they were helping their friends, if that sounds like an interesting twist for your CR.)

So yes. All we wanna do is wash your brains. Any interest?

Adding on to that: Archer will eventually be travelling with Kimblee to obtain the rest of the Gym Badges, so there will be chances there!

Archer has the means to breed Psychic-type Pokemon, if anyone else is interested in experimenting with this as well!

Not really interested in having him brainwashed Because he needs a brain for that, but uh, just throwing this out there. Cobra here once tried to create an army of psychics to take over the world. It failed horrifically. If you want tips on what not to do, he's your man.

I'd be up for Ouka to be brainwashed! I'm somewhat attached to her Pokemon, though, and she doesn't exactly have a whole lot of friends. But I'd be up for her trying to steal someone else's Pokemon. Or even attempting (and probably failing and getting sent to jail, tbh) to steal from the Pokemon Center.

idk if I'd really want him to be, but they could try to go after Hayate if they wanted? Try because he has a level 80-something Gardevoir that he always keeps on him, so anything done to him mentally would kind of... be wiped clean once she was released and saw him acting unusual. Though who knows if Hayate has won over Archer enough to avoid him wanting to target him

and I pitched a plot idea last month involving a bunch of Psychic type antics including possible mind control, so depending on what the mods do with / think of that they might get a chance to do something like that in a grander scale someday?!

I have no plots on my own, save for eventually canon-updating Minnie when KH3D comes to America. That said, I am offering up Minnie and Fluttershy if anyone would like them! They're useful for -

+ Innocent victims
+ Fights (minnie if you want a challenge, flutters if you want a pushover)
+ Ways to get information

...I actually want something horrible to come out of Fluttershy "befriending" Descole as happened a while back, though I don't know exactly what yet. I am definitely open for plotting in this regard - if nothing else, he'd actually probably try to get information out of her.

You know, now that Fluttershy has expressed interest in actually fighting (gasp!) Twi's going to be trying to drag her into training regimens.

If either Minnie or Fluttershy are up for the plot listed above, that would be great! Otherwise I'd love to have someone on my list target one of them eventually! (I'm thinking Ryuunosuke since he actually can't do anything and he's been itching to prove himself to Cobra.......)

Otherwise, Archer always works! He knows Minnie's name is on that TR list after all...

Admittedly, if he's able, he'd like to make good on that house visit- afterall, you look like you have a lovely home to plant bugging equipment in~

Would you be up for this (and most likely getting a bugged pokémon back in the process? Because I forgot he still has, like, 3 of your pokémon.)

Okay, so this is like...the vaguest "plotting idea" ever, but sooner or later I'm really going to have to have Carmen pull off a heist of some variety or another. The problem is, she traditionally only does it when she's bored, challenged/provoked, or trying to mess with somebody, and the likelihood of her getting bored in Johto is pretty slim, all things considered, so that kind of paints me into a corner in the arena of motivating her to pull something.

That said, now that she's learning about Team Rocket's recent interest in the legendaries, she might be tempted (or susceptible to provocation) to go try to bag one of her own — either by tracking one down on her own or attempting to pull a Mewtwo and trying to figure out how to genetically engineer one from a fossil or something. (Don't look at me like that, she canonically tries it in an attempt to GET HER OWN DINOSAUR because why the hell not.) Anyway, the point is, she can have a really "anything you can do, I can do better" mentality, especially when it comes to stealing things, and it wouldn't be very hard to provoke her into trying to one-up Team Rocket on something or another, even if she's well aware she's being provoked into it or that it's a really obvious trap. Such is her ego.

I would also like to have her someday replace someone's entire roster with Metapods.

Basically, I don't feel like her stealing something is really capable of standing alone as a plot in and of itself, but I'd really like to find a way for it to help facilitate something else, if that makes sense?

...Or I guess she could always steal every Smeargle in Johto and try to paint her face on the moon again or something, hm.

If Carmen needs someone to compete with for heisting stuff, you might want to hit her up about doing something with Kaito? What with his Phantom Thievery and all.

Oh my god, I would love for Carmen and Archer to attempt to out-ego each other with something like that - TEAM ROCKET CAUGHT A LEGENDARY YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY BEAT THAT-- wait what are you doing, you can't go after a legendary!!! >:|

Of course, that would involve Archer outing himself as a TR member, which he isn't interested in doing just yet. However, the plot mentioned above might end up outing Archer so! If it does, we can always work with that!

I had an idea of using Jirachi for a Tanabata/Rocket plot.

The plot would start on the 7th and end on the 14th, as per Jirachi's legend, where it wakes for seven days every thousand years. Perhaps Team Rocket had been keeping an eye on the calendar, and decided to seize their chance for ultimate world domination via the powers of this legendary wishgranter.

...however, the Admins cannot decide on which wish to have granted, and Jirachi decides to leave them and go hunting for wishes to grant, as the bickering of four Rocket Admins isn't very entertaining. It comes across someone (probably an NPC??) who wishes that she would be able to truly know the person she has fallen in love with - and Jirachi grants it.

Therefore, every night from the 7th to the 14th, when people go to sleep, their dreams will be able to be seen by others who are also dreaming (Similar to Munna and Musharna), but they will be able to interact with the people in those dreams. They will also be able to remember everything when they wake up! ...cuing some very unsure faces.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is doing it's best to recapture Jirachi because hey rude >( you're meant to be granting OUR wishes, not everybody else's!! They eventually catch it when it falls back asleep on the 14th, and many sads are had because now they have to wait another thousand years...

And yeah that's all I got on this one at the moment.

I think this sounds really neat-- BUT it also seems a bit similar to the Shedinja nightmare plot from last year.

After all, not all the nightmares were horrory, some were just cracky dream-stuff. And the characters remembered them afterwards, too!

BUT I like the idea of using a Jirachi wish as the trigger for an event, though!

So, uh, there's this one thing I've been sort of half writing up to send to the mods' plot ideas post, but I haven't actually written it out to my satisfaction yet, so I might as well tell it here first...

A swarm of Munna. (And maybe a few Musharna.)

That spread Dream Smoke all over the region, which causes whoever breathes in enough of it to enter a big shared dream. Think the Dream World, except more customizable than floating islands.

Wherein humans dream they are Pokémon, and the Pokémon themselves can of course hang out in the dream too.

And wherein anything that can happen in a dream can happen. (...for instance, wherein a character's Pokémon partner can meet a dream instantiation of their trainer's superpowered evil side who can't come out most of the time because of the power loss. and then it became obvious just why I've been working on this...)

Good? Interesting? Katie this is horrible get out?

Also, I'll toss Ryner and Kurow up for grabs to be playing pieces in anyone else's plots who want them. I don't have anything specific in mind for them myself at the moment, but I'd be happy to get either of them involved. ^^

What about a Celebi time travel plot? Where Celebi sends everything back in time? It'd be a cool plot for some medieval Pokemon fun or something :3

I guess it would hinge around the Shrine in Ilex Forest, since there's been that thing that if someone damages it, they black out and wake up a day later in the Azalea PokeCenter, with a vague warning of not to do that again...

I wonder what would happen if someone hit it with a Hyper Beam? (The Shrine, that is)

Okay, so I don’t have any real concrete plans for Cobra’s future. I’d like to pull off at least one more thing before him having to face any sort of consequences for his actions, but I’m not sure what. I’d like to go with something absolutely petty and ridiculous since he hasn’t done anything like that since the Whitney incident. Like carving his own face into a mountain levels of stupidity. …actually, if he could do that with Hyper Beam it’d be perfect. BECAUSE THE MOON IS TOO FAR AWAY AND HE TOTALLY TRIED IT FIRST, CARMEN

On the other side of things, if there’s any interest, PGC people? Cobra doesn’t like the ones he’s spoken with, and doesn’t like what he’s heard from other people (even though he hasn’t really heard much, if anything really). So let me get to the point, anyone up for being targeted by him? A couple of characters are already on his list, so he really wouldn’t mind crossing some more names off of that list besides Danny and Saber. Or at least, trying to. And failing. Horribly.

That’s about all I have kicking around in my head at the moment. Probably a canon update in the future but that’s not really a plot idea.

...Actually, speaking of consequences for his actions, I have this thing I keep meaning to ask you about and keep perpetually forgetting, that would likewise be absolutely petty and ridiculous and basically just utter flailing stupidity all around.

But I would need to know if he ever takes his Cobra Throne out of Rocket Headquarters first.

.... Caster .... is going to want to sacrifice children. He'll be forced into nonstop Rocket training for the next two weeks. But as soon as they set him free, he's going to go on a killing rampage. Probably at night. Probably... without his Pokemon (Or at least they won't be much help since he's just arrived; I think they'd be at like, level 20-something at best?) And likely in full view of anyone in the surrounding area (being Goldenrod.)

There's no death in Johto, obviously. And honestly, a crazy man without his powers running around attempting to kill people is likely not going to get very far (especially if there are people with high leveled Pokemon to stop him.) But he's gonna try. And it's likely he'll at least injure a few people who get in his way/weren't prepared.

So... would anyone like to have a random run-in with a psycho in about two weeks? He'll probably only try to kill anyone under the age of 18. But I'm open to people above age 18 trying to stop him or saving any children from harm.

I have a twelve-year-old kid. He is also a skilled swordsman and rides a level 50+ Growlithe. He's not going to be in Goldenrod in anywhere near two weeks, but, well, I do have him.

I actually have something I kind of want to plot! Which is new to me!

So, soon I'll be introing my new character, Miu Matsuoka (extremelycute), and one idea I was throwing around was actually having her try to fleece others out of their money. She'd say things like she ran out of money for Pokémon food or found an abandoned egg, et cetera. I'm actually interested in seeing how many people will donate to a twelve year old girl who is capable of earning money herself/will have money.

BUT. She won't be asking Rockets for money. Since she is one. So, if there are any chumps who will "lend" her some money, that would. Be amazing. And having them eventually find out she didn't need the money at all is A+.

No, I mean it. Crow has the BIGGEST SOFT SPOT for children (he adopts them right and left, after all) and will be more than happy to help out a poor girl in need. TOUGH CHILDHOOD ETC, so he can definitely relate. A cute little angel like her couldn't possible lie, after all! orz

As mentioned above, Archer will be helping Malik out with the Psychic-type Pokémon plot! But I also have another thing to bring up:

ROCKET BREEDING CENTER!!! Archer is very interested in breeding ridiculous moves onto Pokémon, and his collection of Pokémon is... rather impressive. So what's the deal here? Archer is planning on opening a TOTALLY LEGIT breeding business sometime in the future, but in order for that to work, he's going to have to get really chummy with the rest of the Rockets.

So how does this work? Archer and Kimblee are working together to offer up a large selection of eggs! You can find Archer's Pokémon here and Kimblee's are here. Archer will breed all of his every month, but you'll have to pester Kimblee if you want his. Breeding information for Archer's Pokémon can be found here and Kimblee's is at the bottom here!

So Team Rocket members, if you're looking for Pokémon, come to them! Archer will breed crazy egg moves onto any Pokémon you want (as long as he has it/Kimblee has it/you have it/he has a means of getting it)! Interested in buying from the Breeding Center? DON'T BOTHER!!! He'll sell you eggs for cheaper! (Except he doesn't have the same variety whoops.) Interested in selling your Pokémon's eggs but have no idea how to do it? Give them to Archer; he'll sell them off and will give you your entire profit! (Any eggs he doesn't sell will go to Team Rocket unless you directly ask for them back.)

And new Rockets? You get an additional free egg! The breeding center offers one already, but Archer will let you have your pick of anything he has in stock! That's right, anything!

Archer won't let anyone borrow his Pokémon to breed them, but if you let him borrow yours, he'll breed them and give you the eggs. He's surprisingly good at it. (Though he will always keep at least one egg if he doesn't already have the Pokémon/it will learn crazy moves.)

TL;DR Team Rocket members come help him out; let him breed your Pokémon so he can gather even more terrifying things to add to his collection! I'm still working on that horrifyingly long list of things he can breed (twenty-nine at last count)! If you're not in Team Rocket, Archer will still sell the eggs to you! But Team Rocket comes first. Because he wants to suck up to everyone and get promotions. :|b

How is this a plot? Well. Running the breeding center out of business is totally a plot, right??? No, I'm kidding, he won't actually be able to do anything for a very long time. I'm just looking for interest when it comes to a rival breeding center specifically for Rockets!

You probably already know this, but I really really like the idea of having a separate Breeding Center/black market weapons supply thing for the Rockets. Especially since asking for some of those movesets over the public network would probably raise a few eyebrows.
