Not that he's above using such things, but in actual battles meant to test skill he's going to do it with his own abilities exclusively.
Plans: Hopefully working the game corner in the hopes of wooing customers and stealing information wherever he can, along with the occasional unguarded pokéball. Also researching into legendary pokémon since that definitely caught his interest when it was brought up with him.

Plans: PROJECT POWERPOINT The Survival Guide for Beginners is still in the works. The plan is to have the thing done by the end of January or the second week of February the latest. I was actually thinking about making an OOC post sometime this week about it but I'm totally cool with hashing out the details here as well. Right now, I got a rough outline done based on all the IC-suggestions/comments from Norman's post. The next step is to actually write the thing out. I AM STILL OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS on what should be in it, which pieces of clipart to use, anything I should consider, etc. The purpose of this is to be a mini-group project so hey-- the more the merrier!

About the only other things I've got set in stone for is her powering through Viridian forest on the back of a rock snake, hitting Pewter with her epic travel group {SEE: Bro Strider (lovesmuppeteer) and Mom Lalonde (matini)}, getting her Scyther in line, bugging Bro, girly times with Mom, Jigglypuff acquisition, and a couple of adoptions. That, and training so she can take the gym challenge. Otherwise, she's pretty open!

Before Crisis is pretty much the only ffvii spin off I'm unfamiliar with so I'm not really sure which would be a better combo: ghost-loving goob or imaginary flapper. Recent events have gotten him to realize that his worldview has been severely limited, so he's starting to pay more attention to what's going on in Johto. He'd still rather be away from the towns if possible. He's probably the person to talk to if you want to know about medicinal and edible plants in Johto, since he's been looking into that since he first arrived.
Plans: He's spending the winter in his cave at the Lake of Rage, because he's really dedicated to the whole "avoiding towns" thing. I have no immediate plans for him over the winter, but longer-term I want him to get involved with the PGC and he'll be selling jars of honey sometime in the spring or summer, courtesy of his Combee and Vespiquen leaving and starting a hive. He also has a young Sentret that I'd like someone who travels a lot to take off of his hands, if anyone's interested (sadly, it doesn't know Flamethrower).

Plans: Heather's had a tough year, which has led to her shifting her usual defensive behavior up a notch or two. She's dealing with a lot of feelings of helplessness, so she'll be acting out a little more than she used to. Probably picking fights here and there, as well as getting a lot more intense with her Pokemon training, which she previously didn't pay much attention to.
SHE'LL ALSO BE LOOKING FOR SPARRING/BATTLING PARTNERS AND TEACHERS, so if anyone would like to thread out some stuff along those lines, grab me and LET US PLOT.
Otherwise, I'm pretty much open to anything!

Blurb: Piper is a pretty down to earth girl, despite her parents' "careers" (her father is a super-famous movie star back home who played the lead in the Percy Jackson equivalent of 300 or Sparticus or something I guess, and her mother is a goddess whose identity I otherwise won't spoil here). She thinks she's not really comfortable around people because of choices she's made and her reputation back home as a "problem kid" and a "klepto", but she's actually a very steadfast and loyal friend. She's earnest and actually generally good at understanding the feelings and intentions of those around her- at least regarding normal people. She's a sixteen year old from a modern day Earth (complete with all manner of pop culture references like Taylor Swift and Wal-Mart and Homestuck, but she'll only be familiar with the REALLY popular things like Pokemon and Digimon, since it's never implied that she fell into any actual fandoms), so her humor tends to run on the witty/dry side and she tends to tease and joke with people she's comfortable with. Not a lot, but enough.

Plans: With a castmate on the horizon she will probably be backtracking to New Bark Town following the next app cycle. For now, IC'ly, she's debating getting the money together to head to Kanto or not. In the meanwhile she's going to basically just be busy getting to know her Pokemon team and get used to training them and what not. She fully intends to tackle both regions for the gym challenge just to see if she can either learn anything that might help get her home and because even if she doesn't admit it a part of her inner kid is freaking STOKED to be living out a life as a Pokemon trainer (breeder, DETAILS). She might be better with her Pokemon than she is with people at first.

Mostly I would like for Piper to make some positive CR, get out there and talk to some other breeders, maybe establish some kind of network of contacts/connections in that community? I want her to talk to people who have been around a long time, too, she's the type of person that would seek out/call on all the information she can gather about a new place- about Johto and Kanto in general as well as breeder-specific things.

This will also be her first chance to make friends with people she doesn't want to punch in the face and/or won't be too embarrassed to introduce herself to using her full name (life is hard when your dad is a movie star and you don't like spotlight). There is a normal girl buried under all those demi-goddess issues and I hope Route will bring those traits to light.

She's kind of sassy so someone she can banter with somewhat regularly but can also shoot the breeze with her would be awesome.

Maybe more than anything I'd like to see her make some female friends, GIVE ME SOME BROSIS LOVE FOR THIS GIRL.

That said, again, negative CR is also great! Male, female, I don't care.
